easy
we leave messi on the bench coming on the 68th minute instead of denilson...
are you new here?

at least we got a new signing...and a good one in the air too...
it can only be a bonus...
we may finally score on corner kicks and that s a lot of them we ve been wasted along those last 3/4 years...
it could be an extra 7/8 points a season...

and i m convinced he ll wet the shirt,he looks pretty industrious.

Sorry but proven quality where exactly ?? :? His goals per game ratio is 1 every four games and how many seasons has he even played in the champions league much less proven himself to be a quality player in it ?
I really hope he will be a huge success and will be ahead of bedtner in the pecking order but you just cannot escape the feeling that he was signed because he is free and until he proves otherwise that belief will linger

Cant see the link but have thought wenger looks done in since refusing to shake mark hughes' hand. The last few games of the season, he had his tie off and looked pretty bedraggled. In a way its good to know there is real pressure on him but there's something quite sad about the whole state of things at arsenal, his appearence included.

Oh an CHAMAKH MY BITCH UP :barscarf:

My feeling is that Chamakh will be a good signing.

The main reason for this is I believe he offers something different to our existing strikers and increases competition for the likes of Bendtner.

Sure his goals per game ratio is fairly poor, but it is one that has increased quite a lot recently and his ratio at international level is very good.

I just hope that this guy is the first of at least 3/4 players, depending on who is leaving.

Agree - Wenger looked awful and even a bit frail.

Love the way Chammy says "I am happy to be a Gooner". :barscarf:

(maybe they give them a little phrase book when they sign, as Andrey's first words were "I am Gooner"......... :?

Wonder what other phrases are in there:

Its a team game/the boys done good/I just smashed up my expensive car...... etc etc

Goals per game Ratio for his old club means fuck all! Different league, and most certainly different style of play - any good striker will score goals in our team given the amount of chances we create, im more concerned about his workrate, desire and will to win to match his abilities and he does seem a fighter - whats more, he is good in the air! ive been watching him ever since we have ben strongly linked with him and i really liked what I saw.

Coming on a Free also means naff all, we made a bid in January ive heard but he weanted to stay and fight in the Champs League and Bordeaux didnt accept our (probably small) bid - so we waited and got him on a free!

Just because he doesnt cost anything doesnt mean he is automatically not worth anything *cough* Sol Campbell *cough*

On another note "worse ratio that Bendtner" is a phrase i keep reading- the same Bendtner that got 9 in 11 was it and got us through a really rocky patch this season with some important goals? Some people do make me laugh with their blind negativity towards some players. Bendtner will improve with the addition of another good striker, i now expect to see Eduardo leave...shame.

Arsene seems to emphasize the word Fight in the interview i.e he is a fighter, he fights, fight for points :? Atleast he has learnt something form this season so lets hope the other 1  hopefully 2 :D signings will be "Fighters".

I just do not want him to have bendtners first touch. Would love him to have bendtners positioning and heading abilities though :D

Watched him play alot last season and believe me his has a great touch, he just needs to improve his finishing with his feet and he will be complete.
