One of those jokes where you don't know if you should laugh or be serious so you just laugh kind of awkardly and stare at the ground.

Weirdest set of jokes I ever heard were on a train home in the early hour of the morning a couple of years ago. Older guy was drunk out of his mind and had an endless supply of "dead baby" jokes. I can't remember too many now but they were pretty strange...

Saw there was a "racist" joke on this thread that was deleted though. I don't know how it can be determined which jokes are more "offensive" than others though...very difficult, so I think it should be an all or nothing, if people want to delete one then delete them all. Or keep them all.

I'm not offended either but you never know if there is a member on here that has had a relative or friend that has suffered at the hands of a paedophile so might be viewed as too close to the bone to be viewed as funny

Yep, it is a big grey area, but "racist" jokes are a form of racism and are illegal, meaning the site could get shut down.

Of course what is a racist joke (or not) is a very subjective issue. I use the criteria of if it promotes or justifies racial hatred and/or racial violence then it goes.

So called "cultural specific" jokes (Oirishmen being stupid or laying tarmac/Scots being mean/Welsh shagging sheep/Englishmen liking it up the duffer and having small cocks

) are not offensive or overtly racial, I believe - so they get left on here. We all know that Oirishmen are the most intelligent men on the planet and that not ALL Welshmen rape sheep and not all Scots are mean and... er... well, that's it really!
