Is this the ramblings of a man out of his depth.
Of course if say Blackpool's premiership survival is hanging in the balance on the last day and say Arsenal are playing the other side who are battling it out but finished a safe 3rd and are playing in the Champions League final the following week.
If Arsenal fielded a weakened side and lost and Blackpool went down he'd moan like fuck.
As for throwing coffee at Premier League official - oooh hard man!

He has a point and I respect him for his honest, passionate attitude and for the fact that he felt the team he picked last night could do a job, which they almost did and in some eyes, probably did.
You can't compile an scenario in the future that could happen and look down on him for how he might react

Just out of interest, have Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea or ManUre ever been fined for fielding weakened teams in the league or cups? - if not... then why should Blackpool?
I thought the top clubs have been fielding weakened teams for years. Before cup finals, or important matches, the top clubs use their squads - and in the domestic cups, it's sometimes a case of trying to count the players you recognise!
- but, ultimately, as long as the players are registered to play, ANY football club should be allowed to pick the team they want.

Had Man United lost to Hull on the last day of the 08/09 season, we could have been relegated- thankfully they won, but this was the team they put out (and they didnt get fined)g88ner wrote:Just out of interest, have Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea or ManUre ever been fined for fielding weakened teams in the league or cups? - if not... then why should Blackpool?

Man Utd: Kuszczak, Rafael Da Silva (Eckersley 60), Neville, Brown, De Laet (Possebon 79), Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Welbeck (Tosic 87), Martin, Macheda.
Subs Not Used: Amos, Corry Evans, Drinkwater, James.
If they didnt get fined for that, then no way should blackpool get fined- one rule for the big clubs, another for the rest
