Scum game footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I always worry about these games whether they're at home or away, head says a tense 2-1 win but my heart says 4-0! let's hope it's the latter but I don't care as long as we get 3 points and by the time the chavs kick off later, WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE! :barscarf:

Did you just arrive back to Earth mate?He was sent home earlier in the week. He had treatment this morning and is feeling good. Hopefully fit for Sat
Sort of been a bit of a busy week with work and all sorts of crap just getting back into football mode tonight can't wait for the NLD. Will be wearing my RedAction '50 years of failure' shirt and hoping we get to the top of the league.

In all seriousness just hope we don't lose because my worry is that even the shitty tiny little tots have to break their duck against us one day, hope not though  :D :barscarf:

Feel a bit nervy about this. I know if we keep the ape too busy tracking back to make a difference then we'll win this no probs but Van Der Vaart is good(too good for them I might add) and would worry me if SS18 or Koscielny don't keep a good eye on him.

COYG's let's beat these c***s :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I want fried f'ing cockerel for Saturday lunch :spudsvafc: and then lots of this  all day afterwards

Agree with ya there Topgoon . Things could go very Arshavin arse shape
very quickly if we're not at the races . One thing is for certain , we ain't going to run away with it like we did in the corresponding fixture last year .
Their midfield is vastly superior than last years for one and there is no
comparison between Bentley , Huddlestone , Palacious and Jenas as opposed to that of Bale , Fart Head , Jenas and Modric . They are a lot lighter in the Defensive midfield aspect of things but it hurts me to say it , three out of four of that mob can play a bit and will pose a threat . Just glad Defoe is still probably out and the other wasters up front should be comfortably shackled . The danger IMO will be how we handle Bale in full flow or the Dutch bloke we could have got around the box . Would be very surprised if it's a low scoring game and i reckon with only a goal in it .
Hopefully in our favor .

C'mon you Gunners :barscarf:

I've been having a look at glory-glory on and off this week to see what they were thinking about Saturday. In between all the drivel I noticed that one guy wrote that we haven't beat them when Modric has played against us. Cesc will really need to be on his game Saturday.

Good point, what's the story with the Red Action banner or whatever they were planning to do? Anyone on the mailing list get anything?

Yes, it's going ahead after two months of emails and meetings between Stadium management and REDaction.
