BLUE MANCS UP NEXT

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"I for one hope that City beat us tonight to prove once and for all that Wenger no longer is the great manager he was and that he steps aside for Sam Alladyce to come in. Spurs are getting closer & closer and now have a better squad than us. Wenger should have listened to Van P when he told him to by VDV but oh no Wenger knows best.I don't think we will even finish in the top 4 !!!"

this load of nonsense was written by a so-called gooner...sounds like a twat-headed scum fan on a wind-up.. no matter what's wrong with AW no gooner in their right mind would ask for Fat Sam to manage our club and never mind the tosser didn't realise we don't play till tomorrow night.  :banghead:
the guy is trolling and by getting worked up and reposting it here, you fell for it hook, line and sinker.
Probably but it was late at night and was already in a foul mood.

Anyway expect no more than a bore draw from this game. City are the 2nd best away team and we have a dodgy home record.

City might even sneak it. Makes no odds we're not winning the league 3rd/4th is the max for this season.

I find it harder and harder to get tuned into these games now until the day or day before the actual game - I suppose it is cos I am either basking in the glory of a good performance and result (not as often as I like mind you :( ) or depressed after another abysmal performance

Goes without saying that this game is going to be a toughie.......if citeeh come out and attack us we could be in bother and I would especially be concerned at song being detailed to track yaya :worried: If however they sit back then I am not sure they can hold out for 90 minutes if cesc and nasri are clicking.

Think I will predict a narrow win for us......maybe 2-1 8)

kinda agree......with the point not the Aliens.

Citeh will compress the midfield and hope to hit us on the break. Clichy and Sagna better not get caught out. Song also needs to be aware when there pushed up otherwise it's the 2 centre back and flappy left.

remember cesc v vieira champs league?
this is what we will see tonight with song and yaya, song will prove that he has turned the corner and will shine again tonight with him and wilshere winning all the scrappy battles.
Cesc and Nasri will click again and produce magic that barry and dejong wont be able to defend against.
My personal MOM against birmingh, big JD will has carlos in his pocket

eventual score 2-0

I admire your optimisum but PV4 was already knocking on the door of old age.
So comparing that battle with Yaya whose in his prime. I'd take Yaya now over song.

Eh?

Yaya sits, Song gets forward at every opportunity.

Song's got four goals, Yaya three btw.

whenever i've seen em he's sitting!

main point was Song doesn't 'sit' anymore - that's left to Jack (which makes no sense btw)

That god Jack does.

AW has allowed (he admitted this) Song to 'express himself'. I also think he said allowing Song to go forward would pressure the opponants highier up and would 'fool them' into making mistakes.
Jack has a footballing brain and can workout that when Song goes 'walkies' he takes it upon himself to sit.
It's not right but atleast Jacks got the brains to do this for the team.

As in Monster Munch or the Honey Monster?

Please not Dennis Wise's dad Eric Hall's 'Monster!'
