Wrighty scored an absolutely beautiful chip at Elland Road in a 3-0 win, back in, I think, 1995.

Had a look for it on You Tube but can't find a link.

Not sure if on here as can't see you tube at work, but Ray Parlour against Valencia was a class goal. I think we were 0-1 down and this was the second of 2 in a few minutes to put us 2-1 up.

Had a scan through and don't think its been mentioned but Bergs hat trick goal against Leicester in 1997 was a great goal, his first in that game was a peach too.

I'm not sure if that would qualify as 'underrated' though. Think most people accept that as one of the greatest goals in the club's history.

Accepted but just thought I'd put it up here as there are a lot of previous ones on this thread that were highly rated at the time also.

Vieira, fa cup replay (i think) at Stamford bridge, chav players were brushed aside like kids trying to tackle a grown man.
I remember my wife (who has no interest in footie) even commenting on how he just seemed to run through them.

If we're talking forgotten classics then are four that come immediately to my mind (I've seen links to a couple of them earlier in the thread):

Limpar v Liverpool, 1992 - they all remember Beckham doing it, but Limpar caused a momentary stunned silence that Monday afternoon with the most audacious effort I had ever seen to that point.

Rocastle v Middlesbrough, 1988? Dribbled from the right-wing past about five defenders and curled one in off the post

Rocastle v Man Utd, 1991 - beat the entire midfield and chipped Schmeichel

Reyes v Middlesbrough, 2004 - the record-equalling 42nd game, we were 3-1 down, and Reyes put us in front straight from the kick-off with his right-foot finish across the goalkeeper - great Martin Tyler commentary as I recall.

I thought this was a quality team goal from last season, Diaby vs Alkmaar.

Love it.

The only shame is the camera cut away from the Clock End to focus on the player, when everyone was going proper mental behind the goal.

Makes me all nostagic for sunny days at Highbury watching an all conquering team sweep all before them.

A single tear rolls down my cheek.

Bergkamp v totts 3-1 at Highbury & TA6’s left-foot volley a couple of minutes earlier from Bergkamp’s flick - even if it was deflected. Two brilliant goals from 2 legends in a late win over the scum, Wenger’s 1st NLD too, always surprised they don’t get remembered more often.

Van Persie v Aston Villa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOHO9lnUH_s

And this one’s not exactly underrated but always worth a shout. A Bergkamp finish before Bergkamp ever did it for us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5WQ8phrh7A

Anyone else watching these goals, and thinking what a wonderful team we support with all these fantastic memories...I know we moan about them a lot but jeez they have given us some good times, some hairs on the back of the neck stuff from some of these

Trying to find this goal but can't seem to trace it, it was definitely an evening kick-off? Can anybody clear it up. Pretty sure it was fa cup. :?
