This is correct. The dates for the SF are already set, Utd's 2nd leg will be on Wednesday 4th, so our game against them is definitely on the Sunday.

I can't imagine us pulling off a defensive performance as United done tonight. :(

Phew, what a relief!!! Yet another opportunity has passed for Chelsea to win the CL before us. :barscarf: :barscarf: 8) I'd had a horrible feeling since the first leg that Chelsea were going to turn it around and win this match 2-1 - much like against us in 2004. When Drogba scored I was shitting myself - well, for 30 seconds!!

This is a good result for us for a further 2 reasons: a) United play a semi 3 days before playing us; b) there are 2 extra games for United players to get tired or injured (Rio looks like he damaged himself tonight). 8)

The chavs got to go there again too, a chance for revenge for them. God dammit I'm getting that hopeful feeling again.

Manure another TREBLE ?

No contest for me Chavs all day long

Hopefully neither obviously but the thought of another Treble makes me vomit :puke:
I thought of that but would still prefer to suffer another United treble than Chelsea or Spurs win the CL before us. Anyway, I've had a fancy that City will beat them in the FA Semi since the draw was made and have become even more convinced since their shocking performance against Liverpool last night. Too many seasoned pros in that team that will more than just Mancini's job will be on the line come Saturday!! Losing Tevez is obviously a blow but mark my words: City will turn them over!!*

* Disclaimer: Providing of course that the referees don't have an overly influential impact on the match. 8)

I never understood why Abramovich was so desperate to get Ancellotti as manager and i'm even more flabbergasted now...
The more i watch this Chelski side the more i find it hard to believe how poor they have become relative to the personnel they have at their disposal..
They seem to have lost their way as a team and there are a number of individuals who are just not performing anywhere near their best..They are beginning to look like the Milan side that Ancellotti left behind...

As much as i hate to give underperforming players any defence, when there are so many not performing to potential and the team is underperforming as a unit you can't look any further than the manager.

As far as we are concerned long may Ancellotti continue at Chelski, but i would be shocked if Abramovich didn't replace him this summer..
