STOKE CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What a bunch of wankers they are, On Ch.5 last night the commentator said Benfica V Braga was like Liverpool V Stoke in terms of size, expectations etc. Pat Nevin said surely Braga dont play like Stoke... God I hope Arsenal and then Man City destroy them..vile scum.

Cesc Fabregas, Abou Diaby and Samir Nasri will all miss the trip to Stoke on Sunday but Thomas Vermaelen could return to the first-team after nine months out.

The Arsenal captain was a late omission from the 1-0 win over Manchester United last weekend because of a thigh injury. Abou Diaby (calf) missed the game too and Samir Nasri came off at the break with a hamstring problem.

Johan Djourou also failed to complete the 90 minutes and, along with Gael Clichy (hamstring), faces a late test ahead of the trip to Staffordshire.

Speaking to TV Online on Friday morning, Arsène Wenger confirmed that Aaron Ramsey would continue to deputise for Fabregas. The manager added that Vermaelen may be involved as well. The Belgian last played for the first team at Blackburn on August 28 last year.

“Diaby, Nasri and Fabregas will be out,â€

Cesc is out

Looks like Wilsh and Rambo in midfield . This will be a good test of character for them. Song as DM?

I don't think he will start Ramsey. Back to back cup finals for Stoke

Would love a few red cards for those northern c*nts meaning they'd miss their other cup final.

Look,I understand your emotional state of mind with your number one fan being taken out last week and not even getting a proper send off and all that but...you really need to get a grip. I know you're not happy with your club at the moment but your fans are not that bad and your club seems ok and as for getting relegated next season,no chance,Arsenal will be in this league for many years to come and you can quote me on that too !
