Nice to see the club confirming the decision now its virtually mathematically guaranteed that we are in the Champions League next year. No doubt this was behind the inevitable delay. They know they'll still fill the ground most weeks despite the 6% increase.

And as for the price for that new piece of tat being dressed up as a 125 year anniversary kit......

Keep your money in your pockets lads....it's the only way to send a message. Hit them where it hurts.

When you log in and finally proceed to check out the payment method is default to 'card'. Change the drop down to "finance".

and you get the following:
By selecting Finance, you authorise Zebra Finance to automatically debit your Bank/Building Society annually with the then current charge. By completing this instruction you are confirming that you are the Account Holder of the specified UK Bank/Building Society Account and that you are the only person required to authorise debits from this account.

Please validate your Direct Debit details to produce your Instruction to your Bank or Building Society. You must confirm that these details are correct before proceeding with your transaction.
Tried that, but it doesn't tell you how many payment, when they come out, and how much they'll be et...?
Well, I'm fairly sure that 'Zebra Finance' won't be doing all this for free............
Obviously  But it would be good to see the terms, interest rate etc before we commit to anything. Surely that's standard stuff when agreeing to a finance deal?

It's at 19.9%APR according to a post on pravda. The club truly are on another planet to the rest of the universe. Charge way too high for tickets with the option to pay even higher with installments. *word censored*, every single one of them.

There's a simple answer to all of these problems -

RATHER THAN ASK US TO PAY MORE (WHICH WE CAN'T AFFORD) PUT THE GREEDY F**KING PLAYERS WAGES DOWN!! £50 GRAND A WEEK OR £40 GRAND A WEEK - YOU'LL STILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD SECONDS AT THE IVY!!

I wonder if anyone at the Club has considered that one ? ? ? ? ? ?

Even RedAction are criticising the increase:

http://redaction-gooners.blogspot.com/2 ... press.html

The undersigned Arsenal Supporters Groups have united for the first time to express their significant concern at the impact the increase in general admission and season ticket prices for season 2011-12 will have on loyal Arsenal Fans.

In what will be our 125th year anniversary season, the 6.5% increase will only act to marginalise the bedrock of Arsenal supporters from feeling they belong to the club. Arsenal has a proud history of custodianship and social inclusion at Arsenal and this is in danger of being eroded.

This issue has united supporter opinion like no other and it is the first time that so many supporter groups at Arsenal have come together on one issue.

All of the groups below call on the club’s Board to review this decision and take positive actions during the season to ensure that Arsenal’s fans are treated as supporters and not just customers. We also welcome Ivan Gazidis commitment to review the entire ticketing structure and believe that making tickets more affordable should be the number one objective of this exercise.

Thanks for the info, had a feeling it would be a case of the club fleecing us again, no doubt they have an agreement in place with the finance company.

0% credit card for me it is, then.

Just checked mine - it has gone up from £980 to £1075.

If my maths is right that's nearly a 10% increase?????!

Am I forgetting an extra cup game??!

Well. don't forget we got a bit of a refund on this season's price, due to a couple of unused cup credits from the previous season, so what you actually paid last year was not the actual 'cover price'

I'm in no rush to renew. I'm not expecting any change but with fans (including BSM and other groups uniting) and the media on the clubs back....who knows.

I notice the club hasn't yet officially told me. :? Will we get an email or a letter in the post?

Maybe if everyone holds off it might panic the club.

I was hoping that most people would hold off but when I went to log on earlier to check the prices and finance options they were offering I was stuck in a queue. Hoping it was from people ordering Fulham tickets and not the prawn sandwich JCL's renewing as soon as they had the opportunity. Also noticed that mine has gone up from around 900 last year to 985???
