Or that old french idiot will just say...

I knew the team would come good. This win shows I was right after all and nothing needs to change.
And don't forget "we showed great character to come back strong after last week's disappointment. Bla bla bla fucking bla :banghead: :banghead:

This game could be a turning point in Arsenal's history. Sounds dramatic but think about it - if enough people join in the planned protests the media will lap it up and broadcast / print it everywhere, putting Arsene firmly on the back foot.

Sadly my crystal bollocks tell me

1. We'll probably labour our way to beating a poor Villa side
2. The soul-less stadium will be rammed full of tourists having a nice day in the Sun
3. The AKB's will lap it up and start numerous choruses of "There's only one Arsene Wenger"
4. Any protests will be small due to the apathy prevelant in modern life and the "Cult of Wenger"
5. The bottlers will stroll round the pitch, planning their 5* holidays, paid for by us
6. Nothing will change

I understand all the frustration and negativity to a certain extent...... but wanting Arsenal to lose a game? No, I can't understand that.

I get where your coming from Cook but my reasons are more long term for the club.

I see this game as a nothing match, I am only going for the march and then to see everyone for the last game until August. Not fussed about the scoreline at all.

I just fear if we win this match in string way it will paint over the cracks and Wenger will back track and tell us all how good the squad is.

It needs to hit home so the board take note.
