ARSENAL FIXTURES 2011/12

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If i had to choose when to go to Ye old Trafford, id choose to go in August.

Tough start, but people writing a team off in June is a bit mental, especially when we dont know who will be coming in / going out.

Liverpool will take some time to Gel, United are slow starters.....

It is United at Old Trafford where we fold quicker than the national Japanese origami team.

And Liverpool at home where our moment of good fortune came deep into injury time both times we played them last season.

There is nothing to be confident about. Even Newcastle away after this years capitulation, can you imagine the atmosphere in the ground based on that alone?

I know its United away but they will be just as worried as we will be, granted they won the league but that was soured by the final, they will also be full of new faces so this is the best time to face them for me.

At the start of the season everyone will be fit, that's important.

I am one of the hardest to please and extremely negative even before I get in the fucking ground.

However if we do sign Samba/Cahill / Gervinho and hopefully 1 or 2 others after getting rid of *word censored* like denilson and barry I will be happy. I think the whole ground will feel it and so will the players.

If Wenger picks the right player, who knows this season

I would agree it would be a good time to face them, if we weren't Arsenal.

I'm still haunted by the game 2 years ago where we pissed all over them up there early on in the season and still ended up losing.

If there is a way to fuck it up and ensure we have the worse possible start to a season, Arsene Wengers Arsenal will find a way to do.

That is the only thing I believe anymore.

I think if we sign Samba/Cahill complete the deal for gevinho , keep cesc and Nasri and sign a Parker/barton type we can win the leauge.

Samba - 9mil
Cahill - 17 mil
Gevinho - 9 mil
Barton - 5mil

What basis do people have for believing that bendtner, almunia, eboue or denilson will be gone this summer ? I know that we all want them to go (plus some others eh steve o  ) but unless we release them on freebies I cant see how we will get rid :worried: That would of course mean that most of the same *word censored* that contributed some significantly to our annual end of season collapse will still be in situ next season and that does not fill me with confidence at all

Make you right, we have elegance, those players (not Gervinho) would give us some serious muscle that has stopped us winning it in the last two years.

i just hope they go. If arsenal said that no one wants them and the only way they can go is if everyone pays another 100 extra on there season tickets i would happily do so. :banghead:

If there in teh squad next season i will be selling my season tickets :banghead:

Which is handy as it will save Percy some time he would otherwise have spent looking around for his favourite clobber.
