NASRI STAYING ??

So they've just won their 19th title, yet rather than sit on their laurels are snapping up some of the best talents in the game whilst we're taking the moral high ground over our transfer & spending policy, haggling over £15 for some Ligue 1 winger who nobody really knows anything about & a couple of Championship teenagers... :(

Sort this shit out Arsene, we're fucking doomed if both Cesc & Nasri leave. Who's he gonna bring in to replace them?!
Yep, this is something that Ferguson has always done, and it's why he's so successful, he's forever strengthening his team and squad, even when he's won things, and anyway, all we do with our fucking laurels is surround the cartoon crest on the new shirt with them...
We've always been a pretty reactive club rather than proactive I believe, right back through to the 60s & 70s, always looking to fix problems rather than prevent them occurring. Fucking frustrating though.
Dan, it's why we have to go back to the 30's for the last time we won the league consecutively, the club has always sat on their hands, and broken up good teams far too quickly, looking for the quick buck that a league winning side brings them..... :banghead:

If this does go through then it will be a massive coup for Fergi. They really lacked creativity in the middle if the park and Nasri would solve that. He's a good passer and has a great shot on him which is something he hasnt done nearly enough at Arsenal and it's the skill that Man won't frown upon.

I'll go as far as to say it could be the signing that will ensure they retain the title.

These are very worrying rumours indeed.

If Nasri doesn't sign a new contract then he has to go now not stay one more year and be made captain once Cesc is sold.

If Nasri stays, it should be on the basis that he signs a new contract. If not, bye bye.

Tbh if it were down to me I would sell him for 20m and maybe even more so if cesc goes - simple fact is that we have too many small tippy tappy players as it is and I would rather, if cesc goes, that we sell nasri for 20m and replace him with a big physical powerhouse to play alongside wilshire in a 4-4-2 system. If cesc goes I fear wenger playing nasri in his role and then we will see no real change in the way we play and that cant be a good thing

Once again the club are being held to ransom from a player who only has had one real stand out season (and you could argue it was only half the season).

We are made to look so weak by these money grabbing little toss bags.

Id sell Nasri now. Fuck a new contract, get rid. He's been whoring himself off the same way greedybaymoneywhore did.

And like greedybaymoneywhore if we keep him one more year, I for one wont be singing his name at any games thats for sure.

The answer is yes he could. Although more likely (see Flamini) this wouldn't be done until once the season had finished.

That won't be allowed to happen, Wenger and the board's priority is profit over trophies, so Nasri will be sold if he doesn't commit to a new contract. They fucked up with flamoney, they surely won't allow that to happen again, especially with a player of the potential cash value of Nasri.

I think Wenger has had his ear chewed about players being allowed to run down contracts and his bollocks would be on the line if it were to happen again.
