New York Red Bulls match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Song on a free kick? Bollocks.

22 is an ugly number for Gervinho, I hope he's not officially going with that. What happened to 9, or his 27 from Lille?

Interested to see Chamakh and Gervinho together.

As for earlier comments regarding Rosicky, I thought he was gonna have a breakthrough last season due to his early form, but he faded away. I see that being the case again this season - promising but not living upto it.

Same tippy tappy crap with no effort to close down the opposition off the ball. Utterly clueless stuff again. Barcelona with no brains.

And of course to Arsenal's 'Goal Machine' - Emmanuel Eboue, and Arsh.

What game are you watching?
The one on TV.

Don't embarrass yourself again. You've proved yourself to be clueless multiple times on here already.

Yeah, heard that as well.

Reason given was that it wasn't allowed in the rules, or did I hear that wrong?

Is the Emirates Cup a semi-official game then?

I thought as a pre-season friendly you could do what you pretty much wanted? Within reason, of course.

Shame, would have been nice to see TH in the red and white again.

Noooo

Saw him in that role at Rangers and while he was fine against dross or as part of a unit set up purely to suffocate (europa league), against celtic he didnt read the runs or position himself anywhere near well enough to cut it in that role for Arsenal.

Centre back or nothing for young kyle imo

Haha, yeah alright...that's clearly not the case is it.

Back on topic, I seriously hope Song taking that freekick was just a one off, and that's not going to be a regular thing this season.
Get your head back in the sand like a nice Ostrich.
