Muslims fast in the day. eat what they want after the sun is down. exceptions only for illness and the like. this is nothing to do with it, lots of athletes all over the world manage to fast and do their job.QuartzGooner wrote:One of the Muslim members will have to clarify, but from what I have been told, Muslims do not have to fast during Ramadan if there is a reason not to (i.e. professional sportsman) and they can make up the fasts at a later date?Demun210 wrote:I think Chamakh has been fasting, which surely must have a negative affect on fitness/performance.
Even if he is fasting now during the days, it would not explain his marked downturn in performance since New Year's.
You'd think if he could get his balls in an a**hole or a c**t getting them into the back of the net would be easy.SWLGooner wrote:Revgoon89 wrote:Considering the only thing he has probably scored for months was a bunch of trannies, maybe he thinks nothing else can compare anymore.he has learned to play a different ball game.

Playing as the target man in the middle of a front three

Yeah, I'm gonna milk this joke as long as possible.

I have to say the ramadan excuse is the most ridiculous I have ever heard. A fucking professional athlete leaving himself unable to compete by fasting due to his religious beliefs.
What a load of bollocks, if this is true then it is totally unacceptable, and I hope he is refraining from taking his gucking wages during his period of fasting.

I missed breakfast this morning, so not performing to my usual level.

All joking apart though, I can't believe that a professional athlete would do this or that he would even be bound by such a constriction. Surely even the most hard-line religious person would accept that he has a special case.
