Protest at Swansea Match

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

people come people go, some even walk out when we go 1-0 down to Barca but thats another story. We need to concentrate on the people in the ground giving it their all, not just block 6 but the whole ground.

If we miss anyone individual atmosphere wise at the minute its Clock End Tone who I know would do anything to be there at present but his health is stopping him. A man who is always up for a laugh and supporting his team without any ego issues.
What happened to Stephen Gallagher?

Is he not in block 6 anymore? I don't understand...

Sad to hear about Big Tone... Would be nice if you could keep us updated when he's getting better...

1. You can get away with not going to games by declaring someone a 'superfan'

2. If you're losing an argument then just tell them to 'fuck off down the lane/bridge'

If you don't go anymore, fine, but at least credit the 'idiots' that still go and support.
In my opinion, if you don't enjoy going to the games, then you're wasting time and money by doing so.

Hiding behind the "I don't have a choice and the club knows it" belief is farcical in my view. Mainly because you do have a choice, and there are other ways to support the club.

If you're so insecure that you have to go to every game to confirm your supportership, then there's probably other issues that need addressing.

Gallagher doesn't go because he's had enough basically and is too fucked off, for a multitude of reasons.

Go back to trainspotting or whatever you did before reading fever pitch and deciding it would be cool to bring the thermos flask and an old radio to the games so u could inform those around you that scunthorpe have just equalised against grimsby .

metinks thou dost protest too much
What would we ever do without you herd.

The lifeblood of the club would be gone

What are the reasons? Gallagher didn't renew or rented out? I don't understand

Big Tone stood at the back... Was the figurehead of RedAction (or I always thought) Great guy, you would recognise him if you saw a picture!

Look at his facebook for the reasons, and he tried to rent it out but no takers so just didn't renew

Surely this has to happen now?? We cannot continue down this path and stay silent.

Wenger just doesn't have the answers anymore. He is no longer part of the solution - he is the problem!!!!

Well what do we do mate??

* Sit in silence and hope things get better?

* Sing "There's only 1 Arsene Wenger"?

* Hold up an "In Arsene We Trust" banner?

* Look forward to more of the same (13 points from 14 matches)?

Appalingly, someone had that banner hoisted up towards the end of the game.

In Arsene we rust.

There is always a defining moment when the balance of fan opinion swings against the incumbent manager. I remember when Terry Neill was in charge, season was a bit of a shocker and the sound of discontent was getting louder. We had a home game against West Brom (I think it was West Brom) and when they scored two late second-half goals it kicked-off. Interestingly the North Bank split into two that day with half signing Neill's name and the other half wanting to know whether they were Tottenham in disguise! Spontaneous protests outside the Marble Halls after the game - and there were a lot protesting. And Neill was gone by the following Thursday.
Sound familiar? I reckon Swansea could be Wenger's West Brom: if he loses this one the game's up. Incidentally what's the Emirates equivalent of the Marble Halls or should we all head for the Armoury?

The only worthwhile protest is to stop giving the bastards our money!
