1. When did you start supporting Arsenal and why?

1993, am the youngest of five, my brothers cousins on my mothers side are all Arsenal, never really had a choice

2. When and aginst whom was your first game at Highbury?

Against Oldham Athletic, January 22nd 1994...Drew 1-1 with an Ian Wright penelty.

3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there (for example i was a North Banker and because i loved to actually look at the big clock in the clock end)

Started in the North Bank as my family sat there, frequented the West Stand as a Junior Gunner and ended up in the Clock End when I was too old to be a Junior Gunner, used to love the atmosphere more in the Clock End so chose to go there

4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?

Riverside Stadium against Middlesbrough, first game of the 2001-2002 season, decided to try and do every away game possible that season. Won 4-0 in a brilliant display.

5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?

2002-2003 season, drew 1-1 after they'd scored an early free kick Pires scored a penelty, Henry almost scored with a run from the half way line again I seem to recall.

6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?

Anfield, love the history about the place and the way the stadium is built into the streets.

7. Of the North West grounds which one was/ is your least favourite and why?

Reebok Stadium, absolutely soulless dump of a ground and stuck out on a motorway outside one of the worst towns I've been to in the UK, not to mention have awful memories of losing the title in 2003 there and being stuck in the car park outside for hours. Good memories however of a brilliant comeback up there in the rain in 2008 though. Still wont go there now unless absolutely neccersary.

8. Have you ever been hurt at an away ground and how badly?

A few scuffles but never really been hurt to be honest

9. Have you ever travelled with the travel club and if so do you think its both value for money and time saving?

Is alright, can be helpful as it goes door to door and saves hassle parking etc. European departures in the middle of the night from Gatwick/Luton though are annoying to say the least

10. Which of the old grounds that no longer exist do you miss (not including HIghbury)

To be honest, I think all the grounds I've been to are still standing (minus Highbury of course), though would have loved to have watched Arsenal at The Dell.

11. How many cup finals have you attended with Arsenal playing?

2002, 2003, 2005 FA Cup Finals, 2007 and 2011 League Cup Finals...so 5 I've attended.

12. Which one game stands out for you as the best for entertainment( not including cup finals or title winning matches)?

Off the top of my head the 5-3 against Middlesbrough at Highbury in 2004/05 I hold with much love for pure out entertainment

13. Who for you is the greatest player to wear the shirt and why?

Thierry Henry, he had everything and from about 2002-2005 he was simply unplayable. Speed, power, technique, passion...remember he used to get the ball on the halfway line and you'd simply expect him to beat three men on his way.

14. If you saw your first game in the 1960s/1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s who was your hero for Arsenal?

Tony Adams, epitomised everything about what Arsenal means. I also liked David Seaman being a goalkeeper at school.

15. Are the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s being eclipsed by the current last five years for despair?

Not yet but I fear not qualifying for the Champions League and we could certainly be heading that way

16. How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?

I'd say we are about 3 top quality players away from being a team challenging for the title.

17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?

No, though Redknapp has built a good side with a good foundation and most importantly have a good squad not just a good first 11, I sadly think they've come along massively in the past 5 years and we've declined, they look like they've just passed us on the way up sadly, I hope I'm wrong

18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?

He certainly has had a big role to play but we should have built on the success of that invincible side. The foundation was in place to dominate for years to come

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?

Maybe not as halycon as the invincible side but certainly if we got the right man in we could start building a team who could genuinly compete for the title and the European Cup once more

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?

Henry runs through one on one in the Champions League final to put us 2-0 to the good in the last 20 minutes, Arsenal hold on and become the Champions of Europe....I feel things could the last 6 years or so could have been very different.

- Arsenal Millwall 28th Feb, 1989

3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there (for example i was a North Banker and because i loved to actually look at the big clock in the clock end)
- Clockend. Loved the banter with the away fans.

4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?
- Plough Lane

5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?
- 25th April, 2004. Champions!

6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?
- Anfield due to obvious reasons.

7. Of the North West grounds which one was/ is your least favourite and why?
- Turf Moor. Went in the Fa Cup game for the first time few years ago and it's an absolute shite hole. Worst ground I've been to.

8. Have you ever been hurt at an away ground and how badly?
- No. I'm 'ard as nails mate.

9. 9. Have you ever travelled with the travel club and if so do you think its both value for money and time saving?
- Never. Would like to give it a go one day.

10. Which of the old grounds that no longer exist do you miss (not including Highbury)
- The Dell, Maine Road, Plough Lane

11. How many cup finals have you attended with Arsenal playing?
- 93 FA Cup final (Both original and replay)
- 98 FA Cup final
- 2000 UEFA Cup final
- 2005 FA Cup final

16. How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?
- 50m on a striker, winger, creative midfielder and back up goalkeeper.

17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?
Yes. Harry is a top manager imo. They'll find replacing him to be very tough as historically they have always struggled at finding good managers.

18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?
Yes, partly.

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?
- Yes, I truly believe this. Wenger is finished imo and won't take us any further. The sooner we replace and move on, the better. As for returning to the Invincible days, I'm afraid no manager out there will be able to replicate that, but they'll achieve other things gooners will be proud of I'm sure.

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?
- Selling Vieira. It's all gone wrong since.

Cheers Sammy.

1. When did you start supporting Arsenal and why?

As long as I can remember. My Dad and 2 older brothers followed Arsenal - It was character building living in Upton Park.

2. When and aginst whom was your first game at Highbury?

Against WBA in 1978

3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there (for example i was a North Banker and because i loved to actually look at the big clock in the clock end)

In the North Bank. Sometimes in the Junior Gunner standing area at the front of the West stand. I used to get my Dad in there so he could have a good view and then go up to the back of the North Bank.

4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?

The Boleyn ground

5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?

1988

6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?

Goodison - used to go every season with my mate from when we were 12 years old. Loved the History.

7. Of the North West grounds which one was/ is your least favourite and why?

Old Trafford -

8. Have you ever been hurt at an away ground and how badly?

Bumps and bruises at a few grounds but got a good shoeing when I was 15 up at Everton. A load of blokes came pouring out of a pub and set about us for being Cockney's even though my mate was an Everton fan.

9. Have you ever travelled with the travel club and if so do you think its both value for money and time saving?

Yes, No and no.

10. Which of the old grounds that no longer exist do you miss (not including HIghbury)

Maine Road (but I miss all the grounds when they had standing areas).

11. How many cup finals have you attended with Arsenal playing?

Every One since the Littlewoods Cup V Liverpool

12. Which one game stands out for you as the best for entertainment( not including cup finals or title winning matches)?

Barcelona at home

13. Who for you is the greatest player to wear the shirt and why?

Probably Thierry Henry. He just used to do things that you did not believe possible.

14. If you saw your first game in the 1960s/1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s who was your hero for Arsenal?

70's and probably Brady although I did not see him for long so it was more by reputation. Always had a soft spot for O'Leary, Jennings and later Rocastle.

15. Are the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s being eclipsed by the current last five years for despair?

Not yet but it is more frutrating because the problems we had back then were not easily fixed. Ray Charles could have spotted the problems of the last 5 years yet AW seems not to.

16. How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?

£55m but they won't spend that because they add the contract (wages) on top when calculating the transfer budget.

17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?

Yes - but they still have enough quality for an average manager to get them to finish above us.

18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?

Not really. You still need a good manager. Mourinho used to get more from the team than the sum of the parts through good tactics. Other managers have not managed it (including ours)

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?

Probably not as if he leaves he successor will want to spend crazy amounts of money and we could end up in a worse mess.

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?

Probably Henry scoring a second in the Champions League final. It may not have changed the last 6 years but I could have died a happy man.

1. When did you start supporting Arsenal and why?

In the build up to the 1980 FA Cup final. As a 7 year old back then I'd just started loving the game of football and Highbury is literally five minutes walk from my parents' house so it was just a case of supporting the local team.

2. When and aginst whom was your first game at Highbury?

There was a time a couple of years after that final that the security used to let us scallies into the North Bank after about the first 15 minutes of a game. The first home game I can remember was a goalless NLD in 1990, 1991.

3. Which of the four stands at Highbury did you frequent regularly and why did you choose to stay there (for example i was a North Banker and because i loved to actually look at the big clock in the clock end)

North Bank, no real reason really, just stuck with it.

4. Which venue was your first away ground following Arsenal?

Villa Park.

5. When did you first go to White Hart Lane for a NLD?

The Carling Cup semi of 2006 (Baptista double).

6. Of the North West grounds which one was/is your favourite and why?

Goodison Park. A traditional English stadium, always good banter with Evertonians and the Z Cars theme just gets me going for some reason.

7. Of the North West grounds which one was/ is your least favourite and why?

Ewood Park. Just shite looking, never full and I'm always pissed off by the amount of people that casually walk around the sides of the stadium.

8. Have you ever been hurt at an away ground and how badly?

No.

9. Have you ever travelled with the travel club and if so do you think its both value for money and time saving?

I have been with the travel club when I couldn't get cheap train tickets so while it wasn't time saving it did save me money at the time.

10. Which of the old grounds that no longer exist do you miss (not including HIghbury)

Unfortunately I never went to a stadium that is no more. If I had to pick one that looked impressive on the box then Maine Road.

11. How many cup finals have you attended with Arsenal playing?

Three.

12. Which one game stands out for you as the best for entertainment( not including cup finals or title winning matches)?

The 99 FA Cup semi-final replay against yanited. The greatest game of football I've ever seen.

13. Who for you is the greatest player to wear the shirt and why?

Tony Adams. One Club Man at MY club, overcame major problems on and off the field to emerge as a winner and the best leader of men I ever saw (for any football team).

14. If you saw your first game in the 1960s/1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s who was your hero for Arsenal?

1990s & David Rocastle.

15. Are the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s being eclipsed by the current last five years for despair?

Tough for me to answer as not only was I not at an age where I could appreciate what was going on throught the 70s/80s I certainly wasn't paying the sums I pay now to watch a failing Arsenal. I guess it comes down to deciding what is worse; paying (relatively) little money for few or no expectations or paying shitloads and having high expectations of The Arsenal.

16. How much realistically do you think Arsenal need to spend to build a team capable of winning the title?

Quite a few millions but not necessarily on new and better players but on better coaching/medical staff.

17. Do you really think the departure of Harry Redknapp will change the fortunes of Tottenham to what we have come accustomed to?

Depends who replaces him.

18. Do you blame Roman Abramovich for the decline of football and the financial restraints it has placed upon other clubs?

I believe his presence has had a major impact on destabilising football but I would not blame him alone.

19. Do you think once Wenger leaves Arsenal the club can return to the halycon days of the invincibles and who do you feel could take us there?

Maybe not quite The Invincibles but of course we can return to the top in England after Wenger. Ancelotti, Hiddink, Mourinho or any half decent coach and tactician could achieve this.

20. What one moment in Arsenal's history would you change and for what reason?

For us to have won the European Cup in 2006. That would have been the first step to being recognised as a genuine European power.
