The non-jumping German - hit or miss

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was under the impression that this was a forum where players could be criticised, or do you prefer the Arsenal.com approach of all round praise.

Read the threads on here - if Song, Walcott or the players I mentioned make a mistake we have endless debate about it. That's kind of the point about a fans' forum.

The reason I bumped the thread up as you like to call it, is rather than childishly hijacking every thread to make the same point (no names mentioned), I thought we should contain it to one or two threads.

There are people like Augie for example who are quite happy to promote Mertesacker's qualities and enter a reasonable debate about his mistakes without getting all touchy about it. Perhaps when the GCSEs are finished you can join in the grown-up debate.

Just to please you next time, I'll post about Mertesacker's mistakes in ten different threads just to be with the 'in crowd'
There's so much shite in your post that i'm not even gonna take the time to individually rip it apart. Instead i'm off to enjoy my winnings of the bet i placed at half time for arsenal to win. You carry on bumping up this thread everytime Mertesacker puts a foot wrong just to make yourself feel better. Enjoy your evening.
Ahhhh, the old "I can't really respond to that so I'll pretend I can rise above it" routine. Oh well, likewise, enjoy your evening.

If you seriously think I get some sort of pleasure from watching the latest in a long line of Wenger's cumbersome centre halves make a tit of himself then you're much mistaken.

When a "How shit is Song" or "Fuck off Walcott/Arshavin" thread gets rekindled after every loss, I will look for your insightful comments.

Anyway enjoy your winnings. Hopefully you can complete your sticker book with the proceeds

i was delighted when we signed him and i hoping next season we will see the best of him

but he is slow, he's positioning has been suspect and he has been dominate in heading in either box

i will give him till the end of next season, before we will really know

He is making progress, he actually got on the end of a corner today, almost scored with it too.

That's several times he's almost scored now. He's the new Kaba Diawara!

Strange that he didn't score today , I blame Villa for using that unusual tactic of putting a defender on the line.
