City match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anybody except, self-obsessed, self-righteous, egotistical, ignorant, bollockbrain Wenger would start with the Ox. Sadly he'll probably start with Rambo again. The fool.

Mate we're all joined up on that one but ever since the booing of the substituion against United, Wenger seems ever more determined to use the Ox less and less. Sad really, the kid was on a fine run of form and scares the shit out of full backs[/quote]

i have also been impressed when playing in the CM and can see him establishing himself there in a couple of years alongside hopefully Wilshire

Wenger was rightly slagged off for "overplaying young Wilshire" and hes being rightly slagged off for his use or lack of the Ox in this run in.

To be fair mate, he got rightly slated for playing wilshire in the poxy emirates cup after spending much of the previous few months stating how close jack was to burnout and bullying his way to getting him left out of euro u-21 finals and therein sums up the hypocrisy of wenger

By the way, I shall be getting slaughtered from about 1 o'clock onwards in the Highbury Barn if you're in the vicinity

Just walk in and shout out "who loves Abou?".......you should be able to find me easy enough after that :D

dont all club managers want their players available for their employers
and not risked for the countries?
a universal hypocrisy that club fans normally share with club managers...

this is a board where criticising Wenger is the norm, fine, some people have different views of our players to me
I rate Song, Arteta and Koscielny - all have got slagged off here
thats just part of the debate

but it seems very strange to be backing the claims of the Eng U21s to a players time
ahead of Arsenals...

Victory today and i believe we will get 3rd place. I think Tottenham and Chelsea will get less than 12 points with there remaning fixtures

and we have 3 PL games before tottenham kick another ball in the league, so hopefully 2 wins (against Wolves and Wigan and a draw against Chelsea) could put us 6 points ahead of them :D

Alternatively, we lose today, draw against a Wolves side that looked rather decent against Stoke yesterday and draw to Wigan leaving us only a point ahead with them having 2 games in hand and Chelsea soon to be overtaking us.

I genuinely don't think we will finish in the top four if we lose today. We'll collapse.
