on Abou Diaby….
He will not start. He was sick until yesterday and had a light session. He could be short again but he could be in the squad
When are we going to get our talisman back ?

Not good Friday news
Abou has become the ultimate sick note. He was obviously terrified that he might have to play TWO games in a row.
He should be the first player that we get rid of this summer. In fact maybe the club we sell Chamakh too maybe we could offer them Diaby as a freebie too. :D

Keep trying mate !

I suppose he's worried that he won't be able to get in the team next season what with "first choice" Denilson returning !

We're gonna piss this game up the wall, I would love to see us take 3 pts but I think we're going to be come back glum faced. :(

if we lose this
then beat Norwich and the Baggies
we'd probably come 3rd on GD even if Sperz and the Barcodes beat everyone

I think you need to look at the league table again, and take a closer look at Newcastle

Anyway, I agree that 6pts should be enough, but that would require Newcastle to drop 3pts as well (which they will, and more)

Not confident on this one, Stoke have won only once in their last 7, usually a cue for Arsenal to be most accomodating.
I see Diaby is now unwell and may not feature, not that I give a flying fuck whether or not it's terminal, but this guy's fitness is a fucking well joke.

69 points (1 win and a draw) should be enough for the top 4, whether that gets us into europe is another matter.

could be right.

Can't see Sp*rs & Newcasle winning 4 in a row (Sp*rs because they're in free fall & geordies because they've got a tough run in).

4pts should do it.

Need 6pts to get 3rd though, just in case... well, you know... :(

Fair play to anyone travelling up there for this one.

I have feared the worst on this game for a long time, and the sad news that Abou is unwell only adds to our woes as the old twinkle-toed genius could have provided the spark needed to open them up. Instead I fear the slow passing procession between Song, Ramsey, Benayoun etc, with Rosicky being the only one trying to drag them around

A draw would be a good result in the circumstances

a draw would do us no good, might as well lose. We need to go out, grow some fucking bollocks and win the fucker.
