Arsenal Away Kit - 2013

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I genuinely feel like vomiting when i look at it. The Arsenal used to have certain standards, and this included being sent out onto the pitch looking smart and presentable, which this kit most certainly is not. Whoever came up with this at nike needs shooting, after they've been given a lecture on what Arsenal Football Club means. I find it quite amusing that the Orient's home kit next season is also designed by Nike and looks like a proper traditional Arsenal kit. Might buy that instead.

Indeed mate, I was just wondering what mythical piece of historical marketing guff they're gonna try and attach to this one.

Was Herbert Chapman's favourite picnic snack a carton of Ribena and 4 & 20 blackbirds baked in a pie?

Is it a tribute to Lee Chapman's helmet before and after bruising it in a bout of "rough sex" with Leslie Ash?

A commemoration of last season's epic, marathon 7-game purple patch mixed with the dark, dark days of Manchester, Milan and Shepherd's Bush?

I simply refuse to buy one until I'm told the fascinating story behind the design.

If it is true, then someone somewhere at Nike hates us.

Is it not the third kit from a few season's ago just recycled? on topic, it's shit, as is the home shirt, and the club have wheeled-out yet another fucking merchandising logo change to boot (the tube-type circle around the cannon).

Please give us yet more money, we can't compete with City Wah-wah-wah........... :banghead:

I don't think it will be our kit. It's basically Man Utd's away kit from this season. I doubt Nike is that stupid - even by their standards.

I have ate those words on numerous occasions before however...

It is still better than the home kit, although that isn't really saying much.
