Sell Bacary Sagna
Season starts with Arsene's contract extension and the mother of all BBQs
Signs Aubyemang or whatever his name his, Sanogo and a promising 17 year old Korean winger
A glorious 3-2 aggregate win over Pacos de Ferreira in the CL qualifier
Six game unbeaten start to the Pl season
Lose 1-2 to Chelsea
Suffer multiple injuries
Have another shit November
Fall 25 points behind Manchester United
Lose to Port Vale in League Cup quarter final
Recover a bit in January
Get dicked by Barcelona in CL Last 16
Have to play a highly inconvenient FA Cup 5th round tie against Barnsley and lose 2-1
Players recover spectacularly to go on a long unbeaten run against Hull, Cardiff, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Stoke, Sunderland and Norwich
The mother of all wankfests in May when a 1-0 win against Southampton secures the 17th consecutive season of CL football - Wenger's greatest ever achievement
Renew all season tickets
Sell Cazorla and repeat above cycle until 2017

If only for the close season eh?

Once the real moaning begins in October / November you can put me back on block again

Not so sure about the cupsets being an exception. I still remember the misery of that tosser Fabianski chucking away the League Cup up at Burnley too :( , and the painful memory of him dashing off his line for that Delap throw in the first minute up at the Britannia in the FA Cup. Maybe not lower division muppets like the ones we rolled over against season just gone but still terrible defeats in their own right when the chance was there to reach semi-finals / finals

Equally before the glorious final v Birmingham we were turned over in the first leg of the semi v the mighty Ipswich, after being shite for the whole game.

2nd leg, it wasn't until midway through the second half that we made the breakthrough and rescued the game.

hardly fair to start with 'equally' when talking about cupsets - and then mention a cuptie we won...

So losing the first leg to a lower division team doesn't count as an upset ?? :rubchin: :rubchin:

Yes we eventually turned it around.
Luckily it was 2 legs else we would have been out as we were outplayed in the first leg, despite fielding a, as far as I can remember, full strength 11.

er, no. Not to me. IMO an 'upset' is getting knocked out, not being in a losing position at some point.

Well, in ten months from now,
After eight 1-0's so dour
I promised myself, don't hurt yourself
Keep watching this fucking shower,
Cos the last time we were top,
We cast 10 players off
All that effort to sign one from Ligue Deux
Trophy hopes are all but shattered
Cesc left us in the lurch, now we search
And people saying,
"Higuain's just bluff, he stood us up!
But Bendtner's still remaining.
But we beat Norwich at home."
We might get some *word censored* on loan,
And come 4th again, naturally

To think that only yesterday,
We used to watch Thierry play
Looking forward to, a cup or two
And a trip down Wembley way
But we'll soon be going down,
Cos Lord Wenger is a clown
Cos he's paid too much, Giroud's poor first touch,
And more awful set pieces
Leaving me no doubt,
Talk about "fuck off now, merci"
Cos if these rumours do persist
He'll be here in 2030
Now I think I'll shoot my seed
if we really do indeed,
Finish 4th again, naturally

Glad you asked
