After watching Spurs today I think they are beatable, problem is I'm not convinced we are capable of doing it. City exposed their high-line and their average full backs. It could be a game for Theo to shine in but most likely Le Genius will play Ramsey on the right and Arsenal will own the ball in front of Spurs but not get behind them. They can and sadly probably will hurt us up front, so not optimistic . If I was picking the team assuming Theo is fit I would play him and Arshavin wide. I know Arshavin has his critics on here but Walker is there to be got at and Pod's form doesn't suggest he is up to it. Cultural differences between England and Germany apparently.

It's about wanting the club to move forwards for the first time in 7 years. Even if we replaced Wenger and finished 12th, it would still be progress, because we would be rid of the blind fool who runs our club!!

I remember in the 70's and 80's (and large chunks of the 90's too) when this WAS our big game of the season. No matter how bad we were, once we beat the scum all was well in the world. Yeah, we got a taster of the big time, competing for PL's and doing doubles, but those days are gone. Time to re-adapt to the old ways. Time to take some small comfort and some pride from doing one over the scum.

FFS - Great post. The truth is next Saturday's game means very little - apart from playing for a bit of pride. It will not be a turning point or catalyst if we win. And if we lose we will hear the usual "we must show a good response in the next game". Of course this lot (especially the manager) have no pride, no fight and no shame. That was evident after the 8-2 last season. Wenger should have walked then. I truly find it unbelievable that the Club are talking about giving him a new contract. He must be the only manager in the country that has zero pressure on him to perform season after season. He then extends this cosy little arrangement to the players, who equally get new contracts and pay rises for failure. The Directors are all in league whereby they are all filling their pockets at the expense of the support. . I would always want us to beat the scum, but I fear that unless Pods, Santi & Giroud are made fully aware of how Vitallt Imperative that we beat them at all costs then this might be another loss, cos one things for sure monkey boy and choppsy *word censored* defoe will be out to rip our defence a new one, and we'll neeed arteta to snap cuntohuddlestones leg in the first five monutes.
