FRIMPONG: TO BE SOLD or GO ON LOAN?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He just been called up by Ghana to play for them so more jokes and twitter to follow from a proud kid but can't disagree with his potential being questionable still

Perhaps yes i am biased and know the kid well

Uh oh.

So what's the issue in knowing some of the players then ?

Or are we only allowed to get to know the superstars then ?

Maybe if you followed the reserves and youth like I have over the years then you would get to understand
That a lot of them are just humans trying to earn a living

Fairly boring existence if you were just meeting the superstars George - firstly we don't buy superstars and secondly it is rumoured that we make superstars but that that is no longer true and the one's we did actually make, we stole from clubs like psg, barca etc who had done the real ground work with them:roll:

It's a pity all those non-ITKs don't know that Frimpong turns up to London Colney gates every Monday morning with cap in hand and a hacking cough, begging for work before being sent home to try and make his meagre income stretch to support himself and his young family.

Wait, he's actually an arrogant wanker who's more concerned about recording music, appearing on Soccer AM and generally trying to raise his persona than play football. Just as well he's already 'made it' otherwise he might have been in trouble when he was hiding for 45 minutes against Reading whilst we shipped in 4 and looked completely dis-interested.

"Non-lucrative" contract - really??? Even in footballing terms I'd wager he's well over-paid for a player that may not even make the grade at a good Championship team and has achieved the square root of nothing so far.

I think it quite possible that Georgeknows knows Frimpong.
Friend of mine knows him too, he is quite sociable in the London based Ghanaian community, frequently goes to charity galas and community events.

I do not have a problem with Frimpong's Dench activities, especially as he sold his T Shirts whilst injured, which is more productive than sitting around.

What I fear though is that he could lose focus and end up a Twitter legend, rather than focussing on football, regardless of what club he plays for.

It is up to him to make the most of his career, and not lose track.

No issue with anybody giving an honest opinion - the issue is your standard ITK bollocks lording it over everyone else who doesn't dine at the table with Arsenal's social elite.

Nb123, I do apologise that while you were shagging sheep I was in Munich as you say lording it up but I thought the point of a forum was having a cross section of people profiles and opinions to bring different experiences and information to the table ?

I could suggest that I have no time for armchair fans who know no one and go nowhere but I won't because we all share the same passion, rich poor black white , diamond club or lower tier .

Knowing What is best described as an average arsenal product of youth development is not exactly a Fukin boast merely a statement of fact to add credence to info provided.

Until I make a posting about someone or something that I make out is an ITK that turns out to be utter bollox I suggest you stick to sheep shagging

Shagging sheep - that's the best you could do? Twice???

And it's not really a cross-section of opinions when it almost invariably entails you telling everybody else that they're actually wrong because you know or you've spoken to X, Y and Z and they've told you it's different. Or maybe you were actually trying to foster genuine debate when you declared that people who were slagging Frimpong off on here were wankers? Don't give it the 'purpose of the forum' chat because the point of the forum unless I'm missing something is to share opinions and views, debate and generally have a bit of banter - not come on periodically to tell everybody that they're in fact completely wrong.
