Wigan Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Delighted it's the same team.

Hopefully a win, good performance and a clean sheet.

Cazorla gets a great chance to knock in a ball across the front post a few minutes ago and the guy who thinks that he is a centre forward runs to the back post instead  The guy could play until he is 50 and not have that natural instinct - nothing wrong in that as such cos not too many are born with it but he and many others believe he is a natural centre forward

"It's a good even contest" says McManaman. Wigan vs Arsenal, an even contest? Is that how far we've dropped?

Merty is too slow to be a centre half that is that high up the field.

I get the feeling this Kone guy isn't the most clinical finisher :rubchin:

And thats coming from the side that has Gervinho as a first choice centre forward.

BTW I honestly think Verm/Merty is the slowest centre half partnership in the league.
