Blackburn FA Cup

Looks like we've mixed it up a bit with the Bayern game in mind. This team should have enough to see us through.

3-0

I'm really surprised Podolski isn't starting :o

He was a sub 2 weeks ago at Stoke, an unused sub last week at Sunderland and he's sub again today... even if he gets 20 mins at the end, that's hardly ideal preparation for him going into next weeks game against Bayern Munich, is it?

Surely, that means he's either not expected to start against Bayern or he's going to go into the game on the back of very little game time.

Seems strange to me. :?

I'm slightly worried by the optimism on here! This current team always has the potential to screw up. :worried:

I dont think any of us are getting carried away, we really should beat Blackburn today but it wont matter in the end as we'll get knocked out the moment we actually have to play a half decent team.

Looks like Monreal's going to have a difficult time on the left today.

Don't get me wrong, I am desperate for us to win as this is the only trophy we have a chance of winning, but I don't think this lot will be pushovers.

Embarrassing atmosphere at the Emirates. Fcking shameful.

I agree chippy.
Long gone are the days that we could feel certain of winning any match comfortably.
Bradford, Swansea and others are testament to that.

Any Latin for us today? :D
