Munich at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I know that will not go down well with the Gooners attending the game but for me, I want the absolute wrath of the Gooners to come down on wenker and the players - getting our arses handed to us in Germany will not carry the same backlash imo cos there will be a much smaller Gooner contingent plus we will hear excuses about how strong bayern are at home
My sentiments exactly, I don't want Wenger to have any opportunity to cover up our failings after this one. I want the tie dead and fucking buried on Tues night.

Up in the stands in the Allianz Arena on that May evening sat Uli Hoeness, completely expressionless. The Bayern president cannot stand defeats. He talked after the game about "this not being the time to criticise anyone", but he was already thinking about the ruthless decisions needed to make Bayern winners again. "We used to laugh about Leverkusen always finishing second. Now that is us," he said pointedly.
Bold decisions? Sacking people when things aren't working? What a novel approach, take note Ivan...

It won't make the slightest bit of difference if Munich win 3 or 4 nil at our place. Wenger has done his job so far - get to the knockout stage. Keep interest till March. After that, there's little to be gained in terms of time or anything else, seeing as we have little to no chance of winning the thing, which after all is the MO of Arsenal these days.

Wenger will only be under threat if we finish outside the top 4 - and fail to gain the Virtual Vase.

Just seen the players in training on SSN, couple of points:-

1. So much shit there it's untrue, utter, utter shit.

2. Why is it all you see them doing is jogging around like a bunch of wankers?

3-1 Munich on Tuesday night.

I would take whatever result got Wenger out.

I think Wenger's time is up, but rooting for a Bayern victory tomorrow night? Thats fucking crazy. Bayern are one of the top teams in the world and most football fans would kill for their team to be involved in a game like tomorrows. If and if its a big if we miraculously beat bayern - one of the top three or four teams in the competiotn, whose to say we cant win the thing? Stranger things have happened. Certain recent results have been disgraceful and Wenger has to take the flack for that, but tomorrow's not about Wenger, it should be about Arsenal overcoming the odds and disastrous form beating the one of the giants of European football.
