sp*rs (a) match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Clattenburg appointed as ref, hopefully he'll get done for calling Bale a monkey faced diving :censored:

Not a chance, with the way Apeboy is playing atm, that c**t could shoot from the comfort of his own sofa and still f**king score. :banghead: :banghead:

Going to this will enjoy the pre match libations but fully expect to get gobbed 1-3. Jack will get sent off for doing what someone should have done to apeboy months ago...give him a real reason roll around on the ground.

I thought we were reliant on RvP but this is ridiculous. He doesn't score they lose or draw. But he doesn't stop scoring.

Fat Sam's face just summed it up. Actually almost felt sorry for the fat walrus... almost. With the amount of goals he's scoring you'd think there'd be lots of assists but he creates it and scores it himself.

Ronaldo has really world class players around him, Messi the same. Bale's just got the headless chicken that is Lennon and lazy, greedy coach trip-hating ade. Sadly that probably makes him player of the year as he is dragging the scum over the line. They will finish 3rd,Chavs 4th. Us,Blue and red dippers for last Europa spot. Can't wait to see Fc Baku at the Grove

This isn't an Apeboy w*nkfest, just the reality of what will happen on Sunday

Arsene is going to come out with a version where he was close to signing monkey boy. Eventually he ended up getting Lolercott. He did a great job.
This season according to soccerbase.com

Bale: Appearances 37 Goals 21

Walcott: Appearances 36 Goals 18

So Bale is on a great run, but there is very little in it considering Walcott was all but excluded the first ten games or so of the season.

I'm no Walnutt fan but without him this season, we'd be just above Stoke, not a good place to be as I'm no rugby fan

Not normally a fan of ITK bollocks but I used to play football a few times a week with a guy whose family are great friends with Bale's. I remember speaking to him days after Bale moved from Southampton and he said he'd spoken to Bale the day before and it was only United and Spurs who had bid for him. He also said that United were calling him in the early hours or the morning and bordering on harrassment.

Like someone else has stated, if he had signed for us he'd either still be a shit left back or we would've sold him to man city / barca etc

They're like a school side where you've a team of divs and one class player. The divs run around after the ball and once they get it their only job is to pass it to the class player so he can run the length of the pitch to score. Fuck em.

Toilet's best from is away from home. Our away form stands up to their home form, (goals for and conceded).

So long as the ref watches their one good player for cheating, then I honestly do believe that this is ours for the taking.

A score draw was my preferred bet, but after tonight against the shammers I shall confidently predict a comfortable win for us.

We still have Sol and Thierry on the books, don't we?

maybe just a feeling, havent looked at the stats, but aren't Bales goals much more important?
he scores decisive ones, Feo often gets the 3rd 4th or 5th...

You can spin that stat another way though.
Could take the view that Bale has needed to get last minute goals, whereas we have won some games comfortably.

Walcott has done well in important games before, got a brace against Spurs in that 2012 "turnaround" game and scored against Barcelona away and in 2007 League Cup final.
