International sheeeet

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Only one match worth watching tonight, France v Spain.

I think it's on ESPN and failing that, for some bizarre reason dailymail online will be screening the match live.

Fuck me can't beat a country the size of my thumb. With Welbeck we may aswell have played with 10 men. First touch of an elephant.

Christ I thought we were shit drawing with an Austria there for the taking (and all because our 250 year old zombie manager just can't shake that old Italian style "20 minutes left - sit back and panic defend" ethos   ) but your lads drawing with Montenowherestan is appalling. But also hilarious too, if for no other reason than it is the very much needed kick up the shitter the likes of Gary The Scum and Chris "DO YOU FUCKING LOVE ME NOW DADDY?!" Kamara and your media in general have needed.

But sadly, the current Engerland team is very indicative of the problems in the modern Engerlish game. So many of them think they are so much better than they actually are, their egos massaged by morons in the press, retards on twitter and the whole "look at me I'm a celebrity Dench Munge wacka wacka chicken nuggets >insert your own moronic catchphrase here<" instant riches and fame culture we live in.

There you go; football and social commentary at it's best.

Wales would have been 2 up against Scotland by half-time had he not been so fucking greedy all the time. More than once there were simple balls that would have put players clean through but he held onto the ball too long and fucked it up. Last night he squandered some good shooting chances from just outside the box and the 1-on-1 he missed was huge and should really have hit the back of the net.

He is obviously miles better than anybody else in the team but given the chance to play it to a team-mate through on goal or run down a blind alley against 3 players he'll do the latter every time. Wales put in two very respectable performances and he contributed nothing to the first and pretty little to the second.

Have to say that Jonathan Williams of Palace was brilliant in both games. Better than Hal Robson-Kanu at any rate. Or Gervinho.
