Weekends other games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Be a great result if Everton take 1 point or all 3. People may point to the fact they are still hanging onto the top 4 race by their coat-tails despite being written off all season but even if they win this Everton will be 2 points behind us still having to head to Arsenal, Sunderland, Liverpool and Chelsea. They have bottled the few great opportunities they have had under Moyes and hardly have great records at us and Anfield, and also at Stamford Bridge I would wager. If we finish below Everton it will be in 6th place.

I don't see Everton as a threat at all. Don't get me wrong they are a well run club but they overachieve.

Are you going to explain your comments about Mirallas? What am I missing?

Mirallas just scored for Ton. If we had signed him he would probably have been playing for the reseves all season like Park. BTW he's hardly been prolific, Mirallas.

How great would it be if Chelski nd Spurs finished out the top 4?

Chelsea would probably get kicked out of Europe by UEFA altogether, cus of the FFP rules.

Just another reason why it wasn't 'Arry's fault they went down and he had no chance of keeping such an unruly squad of players up (notwithstanding their resources).

At the end of the day imo QPR were still favourites to beat the drop when he took over, and any new manager should have kept them up. Instead he spent his whole time complaining about the players he had and then went and spend obscene sums on securing Samba, ignoring all their (other) weaknesses. It didn't need 'Arry 'Oudini, it just needed a good manager with a level head.
