In addition to proclaiming Sandro to be world class they also rave about how good fatty Huddlestone is... says it all.
Well when they come 3rd/4th and we finish 5th I will come back and ask the same question
As g88ner said over the course of a season the odd point doesn't mean you have better individual players. In fact the whole basis of your previous two posts on the subject were that having better players can be equalled by other factors such as a manager, so the fact they MAY scrape above us wouldn't prove that they have a better squad at all...

Yes I can see where your name comes from, but lets see what chelski do vs pool and remember chelski have to play the spuds still.

But like last season, there's nothing in it. Both teams are bobbing around 3rd/4th/5th position, and that's likely to change over the coming weeks, so when it's so tight, is it really that conclusive based on league position?

For me, the evidence over 2 seasons (regardless of how the last few fixtures end up) suggest they're both in the same sewage tank... desperately trying to finish on top where they can smell the rose garden above them, but ultimately still chest deep in excrement.
So we are all sh*t then

Big win that and it's 3pts I didn't think they'd get. :(

Their remaining fixtures - apart from chavs away - look very kind (Wigan, Sunderland, Southampton and Stoke), so I fear we're going to have to pick up 10pts from our last four games to clinch a top 4 place. That would be 3 wins and a draw from United, QPR, Wigan and Newcastle :o :?

that sounds like them.
it only has value because we are in competition with them for a champions league spot
under normal circumstances beyond a mild titter when they lose
i could,nt give a fuck about them

The day is getting better, Oscar as short as f**k and he scores a header from a corner. 0-1 Chavs

I could counter that with a spending policy that up until recently has outstripped ours by 10s of millions but what difference does it make, United are average and will be 16pts and champions by 10pm tomorrow. The rest of us are sh*t

Admittedly haven't watched 100% of the game but had the Chavs mounted an attack before the goal?

We have to hope that Manure win the League tomorrow and are on autopilot against us.

Moth to the flame mate, just trying to ruin what was looking like a nice Sunday afternoon. One more chav goal before half time and I'm done.

Unless it's more by £50m (net) every year then Spurs are using their resources better than we are! Not to mention that we we nearly won the league in 2008 and they were truly dreadful so they would also have had to close that gap.

As you say it's academic really because a trophy is a trophy regardless of how much you spend or scrimp. But it's certainly something to point towards when somebody trots out the line about how well run we are and how we are doing very well considering our limited resources

The spuds beat a city team today, who never got out of 2nd gear, it was a nothing game for them.
Were not playing well, but I'm sure well finish above them.
