On last year's version of this thread, I said something like :

'I'll be renewing ; I've got a life sentence, with no chance of parole'

And I still feel the same.

The AKB's argument is always going to be that ''there is a waiting list'' as this falls into their AKB way of thinking... take it from me, it's not there anymore and that's why the numbers haven't been altered this season and another reason as to why they were offering season tickets to members that were at a higher number than my son!!

It's not good press for the club to say there's no list no more but to always give an illusion there is one!

It's a fact there is currently a waiting list
this is a factual not WOB/AKB issue, I know people on the waiting list
they may be offered tickets this summer
but they are still, currently, on a waiting list

The reason I know is because I've been phoned the fuckers up all this year, they keep saying it's going to be updated in a month, (I've chased them around 6 times), it's always a month, then they asked me where my son was ''23,000'' I told them, I also asked them why there were people who with a higher figure were offered tickets and my son wasn't, they basically couldn't answer me that, very evasive but they did say my son would definitely be offered one this summer... hence NO FUCKING LIST!!!

See my reply below pal, I've been chasing the club on this for most of the year and last year for that matter, it's not in the club's interest to make it public that there's no list, but there isn't one and that's why it hasn't been updated.

Phone them up mate, they'll give you some shit but I believe they've fucked up big time with this so called ''waiting list'' and if you chase it up you'll be offered one. I don't want my boy to be offered one next season, I'll rather wait until:-

1) He's a bit older (4 at the moment, thought he'd be at least 8 when he's offered one on the figures they give on the ''waiting list'' ha ha... on that, a bit like the attendance figures they give out... more shit, more spin.

2) That Wenger would have been long gone from the club....

I really hope you're wrong about the waiting list, frank - I don't want them to phone! I'm so disillusioned with the running of the club that the thought of handing well over a grand to them makes me sick to the stomach

You can always defer it for a year (if you're in a better position then with finances and the club) (Hopefully the season after next Wenger will be gone, I'm hoping that anyway and it's the only reason I'll be renewing next season, if he signs a contract extension beforehand (which I believe he won't) then I'll tell them to stick it up their arse.

I don't believe it is augie but don't hold me to that.......... I was always led to believe that if you didn't renew you had to re-apply and re-join the waiting list, if their is one that is. Sorry I couldn't help you more with that answer.

Based on a friend asking that very thing last year then No I'm afraid. Unless things have changed. Once he gave up his seat he was told he would start again, but whether the waiting list exists or not is clearly up for debate it seems. He kept his but another paid him and uses it.

beginning of this season my bro was struggling to pay for season ticket by the 2 WEEK DEADLINE! but the club said he could defer for year. however, he would have no guarantee of getting hos same seat back if someone else then purchased it.
in the end they gave us more time to pay and the ticket was purchased.
