The Yaya Sanogo lack of Progress Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sanogo has looked lke a decent goal scorer for France in 20s WC in Turkey, could end up top scorer at the end of the tournoi...looks good doesn't mean will make it. Let's just hope he turns out tobe decent. He certainly has the physique to bully defences.

Maybe many other clubs did. But he wanted to join one of the biggest clubs in England and have a manager who has a good record of bringing through young French players. Anyway there's no point in speculating, unless Yaya tells us, we'll never know if there were other clubs in for him.

Sanogo has picked up a winners' medal at the u20s WC. They just beat Uruguay on penalties.

The French team definitely deserved it over the whole tournament even if Uruguay just edged the final.

Stand out players for the French were Kondogbia,Thauvin,Pogba,Sanogo and the french keeper Areola, who was excellent. Nicola Lopez for Uruguay looks a really good prospect

Sanogo looks like a big target man, physically strong and quite tall. Hope he does well here but he is not the answer we need for right now. Still would give him a chance and actually see what he can do before deciding he's sh*t
