Agreed, but imagine how dull and predictable football would be if you could arrange the result before kick off :rubchin: :(

Ordinarily I'd bite your hand off for a guaranteed draw at OT, but some optimism must have seeped into my system because I really think they're there for the taking and we'd be top of the league going into December.

When you're right you're right, Serie A is pretty dull and predictable.

Welcome back, mate. 8)

Really can't wait for this match.

It's great to be going up there 5 points clear cause even if we lose we stay at least 2 points above. I know, shitty way of looking at it but it's the tiny bit of respite I have if we do.

With our momentum and confidence at the moment and the fact that they are going to wanna do a job on us, physically especially (can see them being dirty cnuts) I would love this match to be something like the matches circa early 00's. It's been too long since that intensity has been in this fixture and with it being a late afternoon K.O under the floodlights, the scene is set for a fucking great evening if we do it.

We're 8 points clear mate so would still be 5 points clear if we lose, but we are gonna be 11 points clear at the end of the game :barscarf:

As I and other have stated, would really fancy us to beat this lot, couldn't have asked for a better time to play the Mancs and after Liverpool and Dortmund, you could expect us to take on anyone at the moment.

However, I would also accept a draw too, we'll really be up against it at OT, the 0-0 result back in the Invincibles was absolutely crucial then, and a point here might also prove crucial as well.

Either way, I don't want us to lose :barscarf: lets hope for another solid display and that Rambo kept his shooting boots on.

I cant' remember the last time i was this confident of taking 3 points from Old Trafford...infact i don't think i've ever been sure we could win there. Sunday can't come quick enough! :barscarf:

I kinda agree with you there-certainly haven't been as confident of being able to get a win at OT for a long long time.

However, i'd counter that by saying I still don't expect us to win. With Rooney and RVP up front they could still cause us some damage. Our first XI does look better than theirs on paper though (and by looking at results/league table) but you never know-i'd still be very happy if we get a draw.

be interesting to see what our bench is for this game is as well, as could look stronger with Flamini and Theo expected to be fit

Even though our confidence is high i cant help but feel the ref could have a big influence in this game.Step forward michael oliver who last month gave 1 of the softest pens ever to the scum against hull, steve bruce described the decision as a joke and tht oliver couldnt wait to give it,btw bruces comments.got him a 10 grand fine.they will attempt to kick us off the pitch while oliver lets them,im also expecting them to get a pen.

Just seen this on the guardian site...
Arsène Wenger admits he is still uneasy about seeing Robin van Persie in a Man United shirt, in build-up to showdown at Old Trafford
Who's fault is that you fucking idiot? :banghead: "Yeah, I totally ignored my girlfriend and treated her like shit for three years but it makes me feel uneasy to see that she left me for another bloke..."

More like "I stood by my girlfriend while her weight fluctuated on a regular basis and once she finally got into great shape, she left me for someone more successful"
