Re: FA Cup 3rd Round Draw (v the scum)
It is a Category A game. F*CKING DISGRACE.
Re: FA Cup 3rd Round Draw (v the scum)
Interesting
I was basing my info on this:
http://premiumconcierge.arsenal.com/
which clearly states it is a Category 'B'
However the Ticketing page shows it as an 'A'
http://www.arsenal.com/match/report/131 ... ur-tickets
Very naughty.
Presumably any rounds played at home against lower level opposition should now be a 'C', but I wouldn't bet on it.

Of course it is. There way no way the club would turn down the chance to make some cash.samflitt wrote:It is a Category A game. F*CKING DISGRACE.
I wonder if the sc*m are going to get the full 9000 allocation? Nothing on either website about it.

Total gutted rabbits!

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round Draw (v the scum)
I remember last year when we played Swansea at home in a replay and there were loads of tickets unsold people complained about it being Category B but Arsenal said that ALL cup games would be Category B no matter the opposition. Now when we have a big match they change it to Category A. Disgrace if you ask me.Simon wrote:Interesting

Shower of furburgers!

Rumours around that it is Spurs who are insisting it is a Cat A match, just as they did a few years ago for the Carling Cup semi finals.
They have only been given 5k tickets too.

I have just looked on the spurs site and they are putting the low ticket allocation (only 9% instead of 15%) solely on us. Likewise the fact that it is a Cat A game. They have said that if it goes to a reply then they will make it a Cat B game. They make us look like the money grabbing feckers what we are. Shameful.

Who's bright idea was it to put this game on in the evening?
No wonder their allocation has been cut, the police are probably sweating over this.

It's all fucking spin. Yes we're money-grabbing bastards but so are they. The reduced allocation is not our fault - if there weren't solid grounds for it they would kick up a fuss to the FA, they obviously feel the FA would agree with us.cardinal2011 wrote:I have just looked on the spurs site and they are putting the low ticket allocation (only 9% instead of 15%) solely on us. They could fill out their end twice over so they would far rather it be Category A than Category B given they get half of the gate receipts. Of course it's a complete fucking joke on our behalf and will make a mockery of when we draw a lower league team at home next year in the 3rd round and charge Cat B prices.

They are *word censored*, they aren't even a category F game and I wouldn't give their vile, unwashed supporters 5 tickets let alone 5 thousand.TheCook wrote:Rumours around that it is Spurs who are insisting it is a Cat A match, just as they did a few years ago for the Carling Cup semi finals.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round Draw (v the scum)
Quite a lot is being made about the spuds allocation for this game that is irrelevant. Every thug from shite hart lane will see this as an excuse for a massive scrap at our gaff regardless of whether they have tickets. Holloway road is a soft target imo, most pubs are a long distance from each other.
They wont have the bottle to try it on in Finsbury Park though, and that's where I am going for a beer, cant be dealing with all of the inevitable trouble.
