Man City Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ozil hasnt had a good game for a while.
You only need one or two spot on passes from Ozil for one or two goals. Wouldnt say hes had BAD games, just not been as prominant maybe.
Santi just isnt there yet this season, so far has been a big disappointment after last season, I would def swap Santi for Ozil any day

I'm going for a very confident 1-0..............................to them

If we manage a draw I'll be delighted.........if by some quirk of fate we win I'll be in A&E suffering a heart attack.

I know he will use this as an excuse if we lose but in fairness it does make a difference whichever side of the fence you are on.

Hull had to come to us the Wednesday after playing Liverpool on the Sunday evening, Swansea played Monday night and were in action in the Dinsney Cup again last night. It happens to everyone. With a wage bill upwards of 140 million quid there can be no excuses from him.

Özil hasn't had a good game in a while? Yeah, dude's got the most assists in the league (in fewer games than others) and he's been doing it while not exactly electrifying matches. So yeah, dropping him makes complete sense

I don't get some people. Those two are saying that Özil isn't playing well would also have probably thought Ljungberg was shit. "He's rubbish - all he does is pop up out of the blue and regularly score goals. Apart from that, what does he do?"

Anyway...

2-1 win for City. That isn't to say it'll be a close game, because it won't. They'll go 2-0 up early and dominate. We'll get a goal back around the 80th minute and that'll be that.

Arteta has already come out with that bullshit in today's papers - if playing midweek is such a hardship then don't enter the fcuking thing  Makes me laff when I hear wenker and the akb's proclaim about how we need to be in champs league to entice top players etc etc - with the exception of ozil we don't buy top players (wenker doesn't buy superstars, he makes them    ) and then we all have to listen to the excuses and moaning about how unfair the fixture scheduling is   :cussing: :cussing: :blah: :blah:
