Tickets to increase by 3% next season

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Given that the club as well as many fans would presumably find any 'Wenger Out' banner offensive, I guess that rules your banner out Augie.

I hope someone tells me when this is going to happen, so I can be on hand to take photos for posting on the forum, ripe for abusive comments and piss taking about looks / clothing / facial expressions etc for the next five years

Unless of course, this is not actually going to happen.

So we are back to what I said originally......allowing/assisting/facilitating Coventry fans to protest against their owners is ok but if a Gooner wants to bring in a non abusive banner seeking a change of manager or owner then that is claimed as offensive and will be duly removed

Nice ignoring of my post challenging you to actually do something.

Tell me ; what did the CCFC fans banners actually say? If you want to compare apples with apples, then you need to look in your basket to see if you have apples in the first place.

Does anyone actually expect the club to say "Oh you want to display a banner knocking the club? In the stadium? And on live TV? Why that sounds fine! Go right ahead! Make sure you spell 'Lying Bastards' correctly."

Seriously, why would they? It's their property.

Would Spuddy or OneBardEwok or LefteEwok allow The Anti Dwarf League display an anti Dwarf banner at their little LEGO house? And how would Snow White feel about it?
Would augie allow the League of Hairy Gentlemen display a "Kill all bald bastards" banner at his house?
Would REB allow the RSPCA display a banner saying "Stop molesting goats" at his house? (you can throw augie into this one too).

:-P

If you can guarantee that I wont get ejected and/or lose my membership then I will absolutely display a banner calling for a change of manager (unless the old c*nt signs a new contract before I get over but tbf that does look likely  )

#afc Gazidis says with more responsible spending that it will take the burden off ticket prices.
If we're responsible with our new found wealth, we might soon be able to "take the burden off" your minimum £65 match tickets

We are never going to charge less than 'market rate' for our tickets even if Puma paid us £300m a year. The only way the prices will drop overall is if we start sliding down the table and demand actually starts to decrease.

You won't lose a membership over a banner that is non offensive ; the only scenario where the banner would be removed is if other people objected to it (as is likely), and this created some tension in the crowd ; witness the scenes around the 'thanks for the memories' banner when displayed over the last 12 months.

Any comment on the Coventry banners content? This whole discussion started with you digging out REDaction again, based on an incorrect assumption.

Perhaps we can borrow their Why? banners and add £24m before or after the why :rubchin:

Unfortunately, we also have to pay our own bed & board in the form of these ever increasing ticket prices.
Even if 'Jabba' takes over ?

Surely you'd "sod off" then, what with him being the root of all evil, unlike Wiggy who has nothing but the fans best interests at heart ?

You won't even receive one if its offensive......just as long as its aimed at our 2nd largest shareholder and based on the xenophobic "ooo, the nasty Uzbek and his funny money" rhetoric that even a 4 year old would see through
