How can their be any argument about Mourinho's comments, we have gone eight years without a trophy, its a fact. Don't forget that in eight years, we were unable to even win the league cup, that is how much of a failure Wenger is. Even after eight years of failure, and with a real chance of winning the league title, Wenger still didn't buy the required players, we needed in January, because he knows the virtual trophy, is all but guaranteed. Also, even though Mourinho is a prick, he is making these comments before Arsenal even face Chelsea next month, because he knows, we have no chance of beating Chelsea.

I am probably generalizing without reading this thread but considering the desire some have to win sh*t and dislike of AW I can probably hazard a guess at to the tone of it.

Just suffice to say, mind games and being out and out rude are different things.

AW,Pellegrini,Ancelotti,Guardiola,Villanova,Benitez,Ranieri,Scolari are all managers he hasn't just played mind games with, he has been actually affensive to the tune of being sanctioned by a couple of FA's and even a case of physical violence in one case..

He is a winner but so are Ancelotti,Guardiola,Pellegrini(not in Europe but so f**king what),Ranieri(ok not recently)AW(9yrs and counting)Benitez and Scolari.

The difference is a complete lack of respect for hir peers. Some clubs get the managers they deserve. I always thought all the other managers the chavs had bar Grant were too good for a club with fans and owner like that but they got them and treated them accordingly.

It's not being a scum fan to say I'd rather win a certain way, I want to win as well as anyone else but the list of managers in Europe who wpould manage our club just as well without the sh*t he comes with is long.

Do you read a paper, listen to the radio check out any media whatsoever, because if you have and Maureen is the first person to mention this to you then stop reading North Korean newspapers.

It's in the media every f**king day. Every victory is laced sarcastically with it from any reporter you find, any journo you cab find, it's practically a national joke. There is even a website page deciated to how long since Arsenal won atrophy. Most of these sleights are aimed at the fans(like we can do sh*t about it) and AW.

It is being highlighted ad nauseum.
Maureen's problem has nothing to do with it, he has alluded to it already in 2 press conferences this season without AW's prompting. AW touched Maureen's nerve their because if by chance he doesn't win sh*t it'll be the second season in a row. Which is no big deal as he has been phenomenal since 2002 but he is extremely touchy and sensitive and is very much aware that despite his achievements he will never escape being labelled as inferior to certain managers because there is winning and there is winning the Maureen way.

Most will only accept the Maureen way if it's instant. If it isn't fans soon tire of him and that's the nerve that was touched when the fear of failure question was raised.

At the start of this season I had genuine optimism that it was a game changing season, either we win something with AW or he leaves out of sheer embarrassment of failing to win anything but the media seem to have fallen for it again and getting 3rd will be marked up as an achievement.

We are stuck with him till he chooses to leave because the cash is rolling in and that is the only thing that will get him gone.

The one part of yesterday's comments by Mourinho that pissed me off, was the laughter by the media after he said it. Wenger gets a way too easy ride from the media, but they show a serious lack of professionalism, when it comes to Mourinho, they laugh at every reatrded thing he says, and rarely criticise him when his team underperforms, could you imagine the media reaction, if Arsenal couldn't beat a West Brom team, sitting 17th in the league.
