They are going to press us high and hard to break our game building. Mourinho knows exactly how to break our game and that is done by taking away space and time.

Fast counter attacking will be the key to get something out of this match. Giroud will be totally isolated from the rest of the game as usual against big clubs so flanks and midfield are going to be crucial in our game. I would put Ox down to right flank, Flamini and Fancy Hair to middle. Arteta is very shaky against big clubs (as much I like the player) so he'll need adequate back up from another defensive midfielder.

Regarding Giroud, would it be the same if we took him away and put an extra midfielder on? Like Källström now that he's here anyway, or Ramsey if he's fit.

yeah. if we beat the chavs we just need a draw against city.

i knew last week i should have had a bet on the Double at 130 to 1.
ideally we want liverpool to beat city an draw with chelsea.

we can beat everton again too i feel.

massive massive game on Saturday. the team should be well up for it after the team spirit shown during and after that game.

perhaps getting a little carried away there
if there is one thing that I have learn't from watching Wenger's teams over the last decade it is that the next disappointment is never far away...
Mate that's why we were 130 to 1 not 30 to 1.

Stranger things have happened - like villa beating Arsenal AND chavs.

I can see us opening the door for the mousers, with a draw. I am confident we will beat Citeh, then lose at Everton.
If I am honest my dread of L'pool winning the title, actually would make me not too annoyed if we lose this.
I know that is wrong but I really am worried that they are going to win it.

Liverpool over the other two any day of the week.

I can understand the argument for City MAYBE, but frankly if you'd welcome the sight of Mourinho + John Terry lifting the league title again vs. Rodgers and Kolo Toure doing it, you need removing from society and placing in a padded cell under 24 hour surveillance.

Quite besides issues of dislike, Liverpool and Manchester City would deserve a title win, scoring goals and blowing teams away in a manner we can only dream about right now. Can you say the same about Mourinho's brand of football? Hardly.

The Mickeys winning it would be fine but I'd have to keep the TV and radio off, avoid looking at any papers and stay offline for the summer at least :banghead:

I know far more victims fans than I do chav fans but I would rather see the victims win it than seeing the pikey terry holding another trophy   :censored:

Mind you a few years ago I went to the pub to see the scousers v milan champs league final that they won on penalties - I kinda cheered for them that night (just cos of the manure fans that were in the pub at the time  ) but boy didnt I suffer afterwards cos listening to the scouse fans was torture

I agree with the draw prediction versus Chelsea.

But think we will lose to City and beat Everton.

Last time I looked online there was some doubt about Oxlade-Chamberlain's fitness for this game, apparently subbed off against Spurs as a precaution, is that still the case?

He will be vital to getting anything from this game. It is nice to go into it knowing that taking anything from it still leaves us with a shout of the title, and after Mourninho's classless comments about Wenger it would be nice to shut him up and end his home record.

Ugh, 'Chavski' ....Can't wait for the 'Shitty' match thread.

Nailed on loss again. Mourinho could be sunbathing in the Bahamas sipping Daiquiris and he would still be able to beat a Wenger team.
