Baggies (H) VT, and Arsene's contract

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How can anyone argue with Arsene's genius?

We've secured top 4 without even playing a match...Some feat.

The madness of wenger is that he thinks we believe him. Yes, the wig wearer and the board do because they're pre-occupied counting all their dosh, and all the AKB's have foolishly eaten foos at the bowl that is laced with mind enhancing drugs that apparently make them believe wenger IS the messiah....whereas we all know he is a Very Naughty Boy who won't fecking resign ! :banghead:

Utterly.Meaningless.Game. Even for the baggies as they have a game in hand on Norwich who will be hammered to within an inch of their life by the Chavs at 4pm

Team-Anyone who can be ar**d and who's dying to show off their kiddie in the utterly embarrassing lap of appreciation.

Result 1-1 Baggies won't push as 1 point sees them safe.

Well, if they can't put in a performance today then I will be amazed, no pressure game so all the players will be relaxed and I fully expect some showboating and a massive win.

Edit.

I won't be watching it as the missus insisting I go shopping to get ready for our holiday so will record it.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with a groin injury and says he cannot put a timescale on the midfielder's return.

Another mysterious five month injury beckons

It's 2 weeks away

do our players need such a huge rest? - too much time off is surely more of a hindrance than anything else.
This is my thinking too. Not ideal to go into cup final having not played for 3 weeks. I'd play a full side today (although obviously err on the side of caution for any slight niggles) and then put the ressies/kids out at Carrow Road.

We'll streamroller West Brom today and not wishing to tempt fate a home game against them is about as tame as it gets. Whereas there is a decent chance next week of some disgruntled thug putting in a dreadful tackle out of frustration at already being relegated.

On my way to the game and absolutely gutted we are not part of this most winnable title race...if I am being honest, we were never in it. So sure was I of this that i bet two mates when we were top that we would not win it....they both now owe me a meal and drinks all night.
Got such a feeling of deflation, I just cannot be bothered today...and as for a 'lap of whatever you want to call it' do one!
