Augie would think we had no hope even if we had signed Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, Iniesta and Fabregas this season. Provided AW is at the club Augie thinks we have no hope.

Anyone who boos Welbeck on his home debut should have their season ticket revoked.

I'd go further than that. I think they should be dragged into the centre circle for a damn good beating as half time entertainment.
or made to watch tapes of Denilson over and over again.

And with good reason too - I actually stated at the beginning of the last transfer window, that it really didn't matter who we bought because the tactics and formation would screw them anyway  Guess who chooses the formation :rubchin: :banghead: :banghead: :censored: :censored: :cussing: :cussing:

I have absolutely zero confidence in our ability to show up for any of the big games - unless you count Tottnum.

Wenger said we needed to give better performances against the big clubs this season so lets see. Personally I think we're in for an absolute bumholing especially if he plays Ozil on the left in front of Monreal. The lack of pace at the base of the midfield always gets exposed in these games too.....so whilst my heart says we'll do them......we head says we'll be looking at Wenger standing there looking mystified as attack after attack floods down our left hand side and sees us a couple of goals down at half time

His answer to our defensive frailties has been to cell one RB and two centre backs, and bring in a RB and a young promising CB/RB.....and convert Jack Wilshere to be the anchor man we still haven't got.

So sadly I see nothing to suggest anything other than some more pastings against Liverpool, Chelsea and City and even though we all laugh at United, I also expect the usual limpdick showing up there too

I'm sure Wenger will send the team out to play 'his way' (again) and scratch his head 90 mins later when his way has failed (again) and another manager at a top side out thinks him without having to break a sweat.

In all probability Welbeck will get the last 15 minute slot . Don't expect Wenger to relegate Sanogo immediately.

if he does that i'm gonna :banghead: after tonight.

actually if he puts welbeck out wide and Sanchez in CF i may cry a little.

on the plus side, OX and Chambers didn't play tonight, welbecks confidence will be flying and Per had a nice 2 week rest.

exactly, replacing sanogo with welbeck, who hasn't kicked a ball for arsenal yet, is 90/100 on Wenger's Kill-Meter.

Hope Vincent has practised for the unpredictable and the unbelievable from Yaya this coming weekend.

If he starts Sanogo ahead of Wellbeck, then he truly is taking the piss out of the fans! Put the Postman in Wellbeck's position on either goal last night and you just know he would have missed both. Particularly the second. The ball would have got stuck under his feet, and the defender would have easily cleaned up. We wait in anticipation............
