Özil's got a song but I think we should withdrAW till he starts to earn. I know it's mixed in with a anti-scum song but right about now,it's more than he deserves.
Part of Ozil's problem - in terms of his contribution to the team etc - Is down to Wenger and his insistence on playing him on the wing - He is Not a winger - we all know he oozes "Quality & Class", but putting him on the wing where he struggles to demonstarte his abilities & skills is detrimental to all concerned.
Wenger is more to blame that anyone else including Ozil.

The tactics and the system employed by Germany and by us are somewhat different.....also the players in german team and the one's we have....
There is obvioulsy more than one sole reason - but that is something we probably never know

And, as much as I rate him as world class, in all honesty he didn't exactly play a key role in either of those wins. Don't get me wrong, he did his share, but those teams won those trophies not because he was on the wing but almost in spite of the fact he was on the wing. If you took Ozil out of either of those teams they still would have won those trophies.
He needs to play in a free number 10 role where his deft touch and visionary passing can unlock defences. And I'm not excusing his lack of effort either, he hasn't done enough, but I'd also say that might be down to being pissed off with being played as a winger.
This thread has gone way off topic. Can you carry on the convo on the Ozil thread? I would move the posts but I've had a few wines in preparation for tonight's torture and worried I might do a Quartz on it.
