Arsene Wenger contemplates his defensive back line - while the players anxiously wait in the background.

We ALL knew this was going to happen at some point in the season when the inept fool didn't buy another defender or two...and so now we pay the price before the season has even gotten into its stride...and no doubt he will make the same lame excuses he has been trundling out since year dot.

What makes all this all the more frustrating is that it is unecessary and avoidable, with a little forethought and intelligence.

The Mirror the comedians have come up with a motley crew of defenders available on a free that includes Joseph Yobo and Diego Lugano. I'd rather promote a youth team player than any of those has beens.

We knew it would happen that's why every time I remember we've got 3 more years of this sh*t,it feels like a kick in the dangly bits.

You've probably forgotten what that is since you had phase one of your op OBG.

I'll miss the game as I'm working...I'd take the draw...so hopefully it'll be a really dull 0-0. :)

Bob Wilson seems very upbeat about our defensive options on radio 5 live.
Seems happy in the fact Bellerin is very quick, nice to know Bob but is pace all that matters?
What about the ability to tackle, mark players closely, or to spot dangerous situations and use his pace to help out those with less speed in their feet (no names mentioned).

You were doing fine till the last, but surely his pace will help out the nameless slow iron giant. :rubchin:

Bob Wilson would be upbeat on his deathbed " I think we've got enough to beat the grim reaper and no I'm not flatlining that's my car alarm".

If Dortmund had a full team to call on then we'd most likely get a hiding but as they're missing 3-4 key players this should be a more even contest and with a bit of luck we might just get some points from the game.

Good luck, Arsenal :barscarf: :barscarf:

Özil gets another chance to show off his full repertoire of not doing anything helpful. If only he'd get off his a**e and prove me wrong.
