Victims FC back in Europe

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Herd wrote:DB u start the insults , then you attempt to take some sort of moral high ground ,'Oh cant be bothered to answer you' then has another swipe, fuck me what a complete self important bell end you are ,but hey at least you have consistent over the years .
I did laugh at the I dont hate scousers bit though , many racists i know say some of my best friend s are black ,u are funny.

Many of the points others and even you have made i agree with and have never absolved them of Heysel or their own part in Hillsborough and their victim mentality ,but there are and there were steps that could have been made by those in charge that would have stopped it from happening had they been competent, from the fa, sheff weds and the ob regardless of people turning up late .
You should look up duty of care !

That the state engaged in a massive media campaign to demonise all scousers ,and that the police took part in a massive conspiracy to pervert the course of justice seems to bother most of u not one jot ,sorry it does me.
Thats not being naive I just expect those who hold office to behave in an honest and transparent way .
I'll never ban anyone for talking shite (you'd be gone years ago tbh) or disagreeing with me or slagging me off or name calling or insulting me in general, so you can drop the childish "self important" jibe. It's only a forum after all. But if you ever call me a racist again or imply same I won't hesitate to ban you. I draw the line there.

Your ridiculous point about "most of" us not being bothered by "the police took part in a massive conspiracy to pervert the course of justice" is not the issue of this current debate. "Most of" us have at some point addressed that. The point here is the media myth and the Liverpool FC myth that the police were the only culpable people there that day, ignoring the hundreds of mouser fans that turned up drunk, late, and with no tickets and killed their fellow fans. No one from Liverpool FC or their fanbase seems to ever want to admit or address THAT. And that bothers me.

You might be right Chippy. Personally the only thing I take offense to is being called (or alluded to as ) a racist. I'll leave it open for now but if any of my fellow mods feel it right to lock it then I'm ok with that. Maybe let Herd reply first so that none of our dumber members start whining about mods abusing our rights... :|

Given their current position in the league it won't be long before The World's Greatest Fans start booing the team and the manager too. Horrible bunch of *word censored*

Great clip on youtube from outside Anfield after the game last Saturday. Victim fan explaining why Jagielka could not have meant to score that goal and basically the result was unfair because of this piece of "luck"...

Yet if Stevie Me had struck a ball as clean as that with a similar result that same fan would be claiming it was the goal of the season.

Football fans as a whole are a fickle bunch (as proven with alarming regularity on this site) but those *word censored* take the biscuit.

Quickly beginning to hate David Brent.

Rodgers on the Sterling issue:

"In my opinion, every conversation you have with a player and another manager is private. That is the simplicity of it," said Rodgers.
"That's how I work and I am sure Roy will probably look at this episode going forward and analyse where he can be better on it."

How fucking patronising can you be to a vastly more experienced coach?

I hope it completely falls apart for him and he has to take his 2-bob self help shite back down the football league.

Phil Thompson was out of order on Soccer AM today , basiically said the England players cannot trust Roy Hodgson anymore. Would big nose be as sympathetic towards the player if he wasn't a Liverpool player.
