Galatasaray Away Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Forgetting about the anti wenker sentiment for the mo, can anybody tell me what the fcuk the ox, BFG, chambers, ramsey and Chesney are doing even travelling to this game ?? People tell me that le cock doesn't feel the pressure from the fans but is there any other valid reason why he would put out so many first team players in a meaningless game ? Is the win so important that he is willing to risk the fitness of 2 of our 5 available defenders ?
There is no doubt that winning this game is very important to the akb faction, where as losing it wont affect my anti wenker sentiment one jot

In summation I don't give a fcuk who wins this game 8)

I think i can suggest the reasons, I fear I must be Arsene in disguise

Ox- Dunno, but he seldom seems to get a full match
BFG- needs more practice
Chambers- will be rested after a red for the Barcodes match, and needs a better understanding of play with BFG
Rambo- again short on confidence, and has been injured till recently
Ches- missed the last 2 games through injury.

Gibbs and Monreal arent fully fit, and I suppose Debuchi is at least coming back to match fitness, besides he may be under the microscope against his former team this weekend. Bellerin needs more practice.

Of course it would be nice to think that player A is included to nullify the fast runs of their LB, player C to counter the height of their CB and player N to see through the weakness of the left footed DM. However I think we can stop fretting about that sort of stuff these days :banghead:

if we win and dortmond lose, we win the group right? Wenger looks like a genius if it goes down that way....relish the thought

He gave Rosicky an extra two years - fucking criminal. Putting aside whether or not he's good enough or even fit enough, Wenger clearly hasn't trusted him when fit this year, never mind next year.

Wenger's logic is non-existent. If he wanted to keep Rosicky surely it should have been one year, and then if he did happen to merit another season we could extend again - hardly as if City or Bayern would have swooped in at the end of this season? How many times have we seen Wenger spunk away the club's money on deals that are ludicrously imbalanced in favour of the undeserving player?

As long as he plays 10 more minutes this season he will be due a new contract with obligatory 20% payrise. And let's face it, he will have earned it!

I presume that’s rhetorical NB?

The internet isn’t big enough to list all the answers to that particular question.
