CL Draw

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Far from a walkover, but at last we have a bit of luck in the draw.
Now if we can get Basel or Porto in the QF, then anything could happen.
You mean like getting knocked out in the semi's? :)

Fucking tiny stadium. The ticket requests will be worse that for Anderlecht

Can I say that our Manager has been superb in arranging this fixture V Monaco.

He has returned to his golden ways.

Only left to say

One Napoleon Wenger Theres only one Napoleon Wenger

Looking at their attendances for the league and the CL, I'm pretty sure if they don't give us a few to fill the ground, getting home tickets won't be too difficult.

As predicted - jammy b.astard   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Not sure, Wenger's previous with Monaco might create abnormally high demand.

The Arsenal board as ambitious as ever:

Arsenal club secretary David Miles told Sky Sports: "As the draw progressed, a lot of big teams were gone. We are just delighted to be here."

Don't know much about the current Monaco side, but on the face it as kind a draw as we could have hoped for.

Any team that is depending on barbietov to get them through is fairly shit imo

I wonder if monaco are looking at the draw thinking that we were the best draw they could have got too :rubchin:

Only conceded once in 6 matches though.

Gutted to be missing this as work rules prevent me from traveling the last two weeks of the quarter. Will be at the home leg.

Also, if you're having a look at travel, consider taking the Eurostar to Paris and flying CDG-NCE return. Think I had it all ready to book for £140 total.

Great draw for once. I was convinced we would have Bayern again. Not easy by any means but definitely better than our recent draws.

Quarter final is doable, after that we would be very fortunate.

Or train all the way. £124 return 10 hours. 8)
