Community Shield 2015.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We shall win today, thus.....

We've won a treble, before the season has begun
Wenger destroys the myth that his teams cannot beat Maureen's
This year's 4th place trophy already has our name on it
Wenger will sign a new 5 year contract.

So our French centre forward, that we are now paying 130k per week to, isn't classed as good enough to make the starting 11 ? No surprise of course but it again highlights the folly of paying the c.unt top quality wages when he doesn't justify them

Apart from the keeper it is the very same squad and players that we finished last season with - hardly grounds for optimism

It's taken less than 10 minutes of the season for Mertesacker to show what an oaf he is (should have been an utterly needless penalty) and for Michael Owen to show what a clueless twat he is by claiming it should have been an indirect free kick for obstruction (a rule which was abolished about a decade ago)
