MACKEMS HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Will we keep a clean sheet and hang on to a lead?

And I see Wenger this morning was hinting that Sanchez being shoved into that fox hole against Norwich was what triggered his hammie????

What a fucking massive shock - we concede a shit goal just before half-time. I am stunned. :banghead:

Typical, he's the one fucking player that would be more beneficial injured and he's fucking fit.

Shocking miss from Ramsey.

The same situation in their box and Giroud shins that 20 yards wide

For fucks sake, time and time again I have pointed out that we don't have a player screening at the front for free kicks and it costs us. It's almost as bad as when we regularly leave attackers unmarked at the back post.

That was not a dangerous position and it was a terrible free kick that a man screening would have cleared with ease. Instead there were Sunderland players queueing up and we made it incredibly difficult to defend.

These players fundamentally do not understand how to defend.

I swear the only time this team even thinks about performing to its potential is when we've shot off both of our feet and backed ourselves into a corner ...sheesh :banghead:

Conceding from a set piece, so unoriginal. Yawn.

No clean sheets = no title. Even if we go onto win this game, this is not convincing.

The OG is frustrating, but i wouldn't blame Giroud for that as its unlucky more than anything else, but as for the rest of his performance, he is shocking. I've lost count of the amount of times the ball has bounced off him in the 1st half, and in turn led to counter attacks by them. Also, he is a brainless idiot when it comes to jumping into players and conceding frees, but of course there was no one else available in the transfer window :banghead:

Just in case you miss the second half, this is how it went: we had lots of possession, in fact nearly all of it, and only created two chances. Both of which were missed. Wanker didn't make any changes until the 80th minute and Giroud missed a sitter in injury time. Not once in the whole half did Wanker get off his seat.
