I hope that that comment (and others) wasn't aimed at me - I wasn't making this thread about le cock at all and was merely pointing out the fact that (I believe) that Gooners getting their knickers in a knot over the failure specialist, is a bit precious is all. Even as a wenker hater, I feel that his voyeur comment was bang out of order and went way beyond the boundries of football - for us to slate wenker's non football issues on here like his fondness for French rap ( ) is one thing, but to label him a voyeur publicly at a press conference is horrendous and should/could have resulted in legal action. That being said, was le cock out of order when he refereed to ferguscum at a press conference and said that "everybody thinks that they have the most beautiful wife at home" ? Should ferguscum's family have been brought into it ? I know that as a Gooner, I absolutely loved it when wenker came out with that response, but at the same time I recognise that comments like that kinda take away the moral ground when somebody says something back at you

Shouldn't feel the need to say this but I am going to say it anyway..........I despise moaninho with a vengeance and would never, ever want that nasty b*stard in our club even if he guaranteed us trophies  It is a stance that I have taken here for years, even though there have been many on here that championed him with comments like that "he is a winner" If nobody had of brought up the specialist in failure comment, then I would never have commented on le cock here simply because this was all about enjoying the demise about the arrogant c.unt 8)
FFS that comment was nothing personal to Ferguson, you have totally misinterpreted which is not correct
"Everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife at home" - May 2002, in response to Sir Alex Ferguson's claim that Manchester United had been the best side in the Premier League since Christmas that season.

Has he blamed Wenger yet for getting the sack???

The Dr Caneiro thing had a huge impact on his position. Players who were there before him would've had a good relationship, probably took a "mothering" role to the younger players. Its like an acrimonious divorce, she left but I suspect now the man has left, she'll return to the "home".

I personally think it's great if the "ghost" of Eva Carneiro contributed to his downfall, the guy's a poisonous, insta-success manager with no interest in long-term club development. Wouldn't have him at Arsenal in a month of Sundays.

Insta-success? Like thats a bad thing?
I'll take insta-success. Be a nice change from a decade of broken hearts and promises and under-achievement every season.
Long-term club development? Id like my manager to concentrate on the players and the matches and winning trophys for the club and the fans. Let the suits who are paid to do it concentrate on "club development"

Mourinho is what he is. A hugely successful manager with a somewhat flawed, disagreeable personality. He will win you major trophys. Then he will move on. Probably under a cloud.

What I do find it strange though is that his spat with the physio precipitated the players turning against him and not playing for him. If there is any truth at all in this then I agree with spuddy that the players responsible should take a long, hard look at themselves. These fuckers should bust a gut every time they put on the shirt and play to win every time. Play for the shirt. If they dont then they are cheating fellow players, manager, club and fans.
As far as Im concerned what the manager says or does concerning the role a member of the medical staff plays should really have nothing to do with the players and for them to take it out onto the pitch on matchday? Well I know I wouldnt be happy if any Arsenal players started fucking about like that.

FFs I didn't misinterpret at all - I know what wenker said and I am fully aware of the comment ferguscum made which led to wenker's response, but my point was that SOME PEOPLE might claim that his comment wasn't professional because he made the comparison with wives  I actually pointed out that I loved it when wenker said it and I cannot understand how my comment can be mistaken as a criticism of le cock :?

Realistically no modern day manager or the club he is with is thinking about the long term well being of the club. Look at the entire PL and with the exception of Wenger, no manager has been at their club more than a few years, and as we all know, Wenger should have been relieved of his duties long ago. When Wenger does leave it will end the days of a manager being at a club for the long term. In-fact to expect any manager to be thinking about the long term when often they are under pressure not to be sacked is ridiculous.

Sorry mate not having that.....anyone with half a brain can see that Wenger is using an analogy and NO ONE would assume its to do with WIVES, particularly Fergusons wife

Marina Hyde in the Guardian:

There are plenty of steadily loathed politicians I ended up feeling rather sorry for when it went spectacularly tits up – and often for more than three seconds. Yet the longer this goes on, the more my failure to feel the same as far as Mourinho goes makes me wonder: am I becoming a complete psychopath or is he really just an irredeemable prick?

She's one of my favourite hacks. From the same article:

Consider his capacity for self-reflection. According to DCI Mourinho, the main lead he’s working on to solve the case of why he’s having such a shitter is this: he’s TOO good.

Skillz, bruv.

Have to say that, even though I am enjoying seeing it, the chav fans are bang out of order for turning on the players and backing the former manager - if it was just one or two players that were undermining the manager and who had lost faith in moaninho, then I could understand the fans turning on those players. The reality is though, that he had lost 90-95% of the players and all of them cant be wrong. It is also amazing those chav fans seem to find nothing wrong in his behaviour this season and don't seem to recognise that he has brought new levels of shame to a club that had zero class about it beforehand

Going back to the chav players, I have to say that if I was one of those players that is being abused, I would have a transfer request typed up and handed to abramovich on December 31st - if the quality contributions those players (especially hazard & matic) have given that club to date now count for nothing, then why would you stay around to try and lift the scummy c.unts back up the table ?
