Protest Saturday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Whoa, split thread

What does the BSM really have to lose by finally adopting a Wenger Out position? It's so disappointing that the fans groups are usually nullified by the club and by each other.

Still, I hope for a good fuck-off protest. WENGER OUT! :barscarf:

Only trouble is all the other thousands will have no mention of WENKER, these BST and Red action are NOT specifically targeting him

The BSM has been killed really by reusing to even acknowledge (much less take. Stance on) the primary issue for fans which is Wenger.

They would have gained huge traction with fans on here but have lost a lot of support by ignoring the elephant in the room.

Whatever the reason for BSM and RAs choice of wording for their protest banner it really is stupidity that they have failed to pinpoint a single issue that everyone can get behind :banghead:

The problem you'll have if everyone is holding different banners is that the media will spin it to something along the lines of 'silly Arsenal fans can't decide on what the problem is at their club and are just protesting for the sake of it', bloody hate the media :censored: as much as the Manager at times.

The whole message will be diluted by not concentrating on one thing no matter how many people are protesting and once again our fan base will be made to look a laughing stock by the media and other fans will lap it up while the Board and Wenger will be smirking away.

if you want kroenke out, you want wenger out by default. wenger supports the regime and won't say a word against it, just like pardew and mike ashley.

it's weird that some seem to hide behind the kroenke blanket, as it's a totally different issue. both he and wenger are only in this for financial incentives, what is there that some akb's don't get? :?

Any protest also needs to be vocal and hostile cos this c u n t needs to know the games up and its time for him in no uncertain circumstances to fuck off

Hmmm - maybe the wheels are finally in motion?
Like Rip Van Winkle Black Scarf and RedAction have woken from years of silent slumber, better late than never I suppose
This looks a bit diluted down to me, they want rid of Kroenke, the board and the manager? Don't muddy the waters with the message folks, hound Wenger out the door first, then concentrate on Stan and the board.

Still any protest is better than no protest.

WENGER OUT
Indeed it is...and it is about time all the fine and worthy efforts of the Banner Bearers was taken up with gusto and the small grumblings from the other silent parties became a LOUD voice and made itself known as the Majority.

This can be the beginnings of a ground swell that finally gets Wenger on his way out of the door.

Well Le Fraud has been in power for 20+ now - and has ingratiated himself into the minds and hearts of many, many Gooners, so it may take a while and a great deal of effort to 'remove' him...But it will happen if we remain committed ... If enough of us stand strong the world will turn, the disc will flip and he will be GONE!

I think the most effective banners would be a selection of AW quotes.

"I built this club"

"This squad is good enough to win the league"

"We have enough striking options"

"Aluminia is my No.1"

I've not looked up the exact quotes but I think the irony could be lethal.
