Re: Championship playoffs
Shit club shit fans, but you have to say they were the better side. Wednesday offered fuck all and the experience of their Premier League journeymen showed. Looking forward to giving them another bumholing at their soulless identikit ground towards the end of another groundhog season, to celebrate another top 4 finish, and Wrighty expressing his "disappointment" at the showing of a "muggy" banner after a 4-0 win

Hull or otherwise known as Hell.
I'd prefer them, with the Phil Brown orange kit than having to listen to platitudes and remembrances to the justice for the 96, for 19 fucking home games next year.
They'll be going straight back down too.

Fucking Hull, Middlesbrough and Burnley. Has there ever been three more depressing places ever promoted in the history of football.

Re: Championship playoffs
Saw a photo of the Wednesday end packed and the Hull end half full.
Just another fucking boring northern club who've been up plenty recently, shit fans and shit ground, and a bunch of boring journeyman players.

If you ever stood on The Longside, Burnley, in the 80's and 90's, you would beg to differ.
They still are more vociferous than our tourist w4nkers.

Yeah, but a girl guides meeting is more vociferous than our place.Top Londoner wrote:Perryashburtongroves wrote:Fucking Hull, Middlesbrough and Burnley. Has there ever been three more depressing places ever promoted in the history of football.

I agree with you, mate. Wednesday would have turned in to a candle lighting ceremony every week and we always seemed to be shit up there too.Top Londoner wrote:Hull or otherwise known as Hell.

I like Steve Bruce. I don't want him managing my club but I wouldn't mind going for a drink with him. That's all.
Re: Championship playoffs
Wasn't fussed either way. Good for Bruce for sticking with them and bringing them back up. I reckon he'll leave them now.
Re: Championship playoffs
Hull, Middlesbrough and Burnley - three of the biggest cesspits known to man all getting promoted together. Stoke will end up looking like a pleasant weekend in the countryside next season

Fuck Steve Bruce the fat burger molester. This is the cúnt that reckoned Taylor's assault on Eduardo wasn't even a booking. An absolute cúnt.Red Snapper wrote:I like Steve Bruce. I don't want him managing my club but I wouldn't mind going for a drink with him. That's all.

I'm just amazed that there hasn't been some kind of damage done to the fabric of the universe tbh.Perryashburtongroves wrote:Fucking Hull, Middlesbrough and Burnley. Has there ever been three more depressing places ever promoted in the history of football.

Re: Championship playoffs
Went with a mate of my mine to the Millwall v Barnsley final yesterday, (given that our goons didn't care much for a day at Wembley this year) - a real 'care in the community' day if ever there was one. Its amazing how dig shit the football is at that level - Millwall played good old fashioned long ball thumping it forward to the carthorse Steve Morrison up front whilst Adam Hammill (not good enough for the Prem) looked like Zico and Cruyff rolled into one against the rest of the plodders out there
On occasion I'm grateful for being a Gooner

he could have been the one to end our nightmare of Wenker's managerial dictatorship, had they gone 3-0 up in the cup final (Gibbs header off the line) then I doubt that even Sanogo could have rescued us from that.
